Who Wants To Play Tug Of War? Pets At Home Knotted Rope Dog Toy Review with images

AdvantagesGood toy for most dogs

DisadvantagesMy dog isn't interested

"...did a big shop in Pets At Home and one of the purchases we got was a knotted rope toy. Joey was not at all interested. Since then he has aquired many of these cotton rope toys and has never shown more than a momentary interest. I find this strange as, judging by other reviews, I read that other pooches certainly do and recognize them for the fun, chewy and very versatile toy that they are. We tried with these. My daughter plays relay races with ..." Read review

Playing slobbery tuggy with Daisy Beau!

AdvantagesDaisy loves hers, it is rather safe and washes up great

DisadvantagesNone we have found

"...Mum always bought them from Pets At Home through the years due to her trusting in the quality of them. This is why I bought mine and my mates shared dog...Daisy the beautiful poodle her own 'rags', well knotted rope as its meant to be reffered to! I always liked these and never had any issues with them and felt that they were safe and at a pound a rope (for the small one and the larger one vary in prices from £3.00-£3.99 by the way) I grabbed her ..." Cheap idea to keep your dog amused Review with images

AdvantagesSeems to be lasting forever

DisadvantagesNone

"...a few years ago from Pets at home and I think I paid about £2.00 it could have been less, but I can't actually remember. ===~Other Information~=== Pets at home currently sell these knotted rope dog toys in three different sizes, medium, large and extra large. Prices start at £2.49 with a choice of different colors. I've never attempted to wash this dog toy so I can't advise if it would fall apart in the wash or not. This dog toy seems to be lasting ..." Knot a bad toy!

Advantagesprice, basic

Disadvantagesfalls apart

"...him was a rope from Pets at Home - that was five years ago. Since then, he's been through many of the exact same toy... The knotted rope is as you would expect - a rope with knots! The name says it all doesn't it? They're not exactly the most high tech or exciting looking toys in the world either. They are generally a two tone colour, with a pattern in the middle. The pattern is of course made by the way the rope is twisted, which is generally ..." Read review

Tug of war anyone?

Advantagesfun, good for dog interaction

Disadvantagesnone

"...chewing. I went to the Pets At Home store and one of the assistants showed me the Knotted Rope toy and said that it was very popular for pups and playful dogs. The rope toys come in three different sizes so you can choose which is best for your dog. I decided to get the extra large one but once getting it home I soon realised the bigger size would have been better for my dog. The rope toy is made out of a tough cotton which is fashioned into rope ..." Read review

Pets At Home Knotted Rope Dog Toy

Advantagespixie loves it

Disadvantagesnone for me

"...this Knotted Rope toy from Pets at Home. She loves this toy and it seems to be her favourite game at the moment. Playing with Pixie At first I thought this toy was a little big for Pixie as she was a very young puppy when it was bought, however she has grown into it and gets on great when she is playing with it. I find that Pixie pays lots of attention to this toy and does not bore of it easily, I think that she likes the fact that whenever me or ..." Read review

~Fancy A Tug?~ Review with images

AdvantagesHarry liked it

Disadvantagesnone

"...around the £2 region from Pets at Home and these seem to be the best quality ones. Of course this is for the smallest type of toy as Harry is only a small Border Terrier and the bigger the rope toy the bigger the cost. Mum has however previously picked up one at Poundland and found that Harry was able to shred it to pieces in no time at all so it was hardly saving any money! We have a blue and green coloured one which is far better than the white ..." Read review

Tug a toy!

Advantagesentertains my dog

Disadvantagessmells!

"...collection. This knotted rope from Pets At Home is just one of her many toys. Dogs like to gnaw at a variety of items, this helps to keep their teeth healthy and also to give them a form of entertainment. A knotted rope toy is a great way for dogs to gnaw on a different texture to their normal rubber toys. You can buy the knotted ropes in many different sizes. If you have a large dog there is no point in buying a small knotted rope, if you do it ..." Read review

Simplicity at its best! A great durable toy, fit for all.

AdvantagesSuitable for all dogs, easily washed. Very durable

DisadvantagesQuite pricey from pets at home (can be found cheaper elsewhere)

"...recently bought him one from Pets at Home when buying his dog food. Quality; .... Pets at home sell the knotted rope toy in several colours which you can choose from. Every owner has a certain colour which they think suits their dog the best! You can also choose the colour depending on your dog's gender. (Not that you dog will care of the colour!) I went for the green, simply because he doesn't have this toy in a green colour yet! The ..." Read review

Rope Toy

AdvantagesGreat toy

DisadvantagesNone

"...and so a visit to Pets at Home was in order to get him some toys. Playing with a dog in my opinion is one of the most fun things you can do, it not only brings them a lot of joy, it brings you a lot of joy too. It's also great exercise for your little friend and in my opinion really makes a great bond between you and your furry friend, ensures that he turns out to be a nice, friendly, healthy dog. One of my favourite toys for a dog is a knotted rope ..." Read review

Not Such a Ropey Idea Then

Advantagesjust about everything

Disadvantagesnothing at all

"...about one year ago from Pets at Home for the small amount of just £2. I say small amount, because this toy has been great value for money. We take it out with us most days when we go for walks and he loves to have it thrown and then he plays catch and brings it back between his teeth with his tail happily wagging. Another thing he likes to do with his rope is to try to get you to wrestle it out of his mouth - this is one of his favourite pastimes ..." Read review

Keeps Kia amused.

AdvantagesKeeps dogs active and tires them out.

DisadvantagesNone

"... Well when i was in pets at home recently i noticed they were also selling the knotted rope toy but this one looked and felt like better quality. So i bought it and hoped for the best and it only cost £1.99 so i would not feel to disappointed if she destroyed it in a day again. The knotted rope comes in 3 sizes medium, large and extra large. Its fairly thick and made from strong threads. They come in many different multi colours. The rope is platted ..." Read review
