We purchased a Peugeot 1007 from our local Peugeot main dealer in May 2007. Firstly I would like to take you through the thought process and the research that happened before we made our decision. I have held off from writing the review until we have had a decent amount of time to test it. First off, we didn't need a big car. I have had my dolce for over a year and have driven over 30,000 miles. I found the car a very comfortable drive. It has 3 cup holders and an ideal compartment near the steering wheel plus quite large door compartments under seat campartments are very large and very usefull. I have had to take it back to the garage a few times for electrical faults but once fixed no more problems. I have found that it is very economical when it comes to long drives. i bought my Peugoet 1007 1.6 sport in April 2011 from a non Peugot dealer near London . I was a little wary of buying the car because of the complicated doors and the semi auto gearbox , purely because of repair bills in case anything went wrong but thought i have a warranty so wont be a problem . After 13 days the car developed an auto gearbox problem which was an expensive piece of kit that wasn't covered by the warranty and after this ive never felt comfortable about driving it , wondering what was going to go next .The car drove nicely on a motorway run but around town , the gearbox was ... more

Decent size car, nice size engine, with cool electronic doors. Imagine pulling into a tight car parking space where there is not room to open a door, people pointing and laughing at you coz you would need to reverse and find another space. However, press a button inside and the doors open along the body of the car, allowing you to leave - cool or what. Also think about this, your running to your car because it is driving down with rain, get within 20 metres of the 1007, press the button on the fob and watch the door open ready for you to jump in out of the rain - magic.
