Peugeot 607 V6 3.0 Automatic

This car has everything except a high class badge. The 3.0 V6 feels like an ordinary saloon if driven in economy mode, but switch to sport and it'll growl, throw you back in your seat and take flight (not a good idea coming away from the lights with another car right in front of you). It has a smooth Porsche Tiptronic gearbox, so you can drive in full automatic, or change gears yourself (sans clutch) if you prefer. This is pretty much the flaghip of the peugot range. Containing everything the discerning exec could ever require comfort, power around 200bhp and a cracking stereo! The automatic gearbox is a delight with traction control and a sports mode enabling a 0-60 in around 7seconds. High speed cruising in this marque feels like flying (the danger of this I suppose is that you dont realise the speed you are doing until it is too late). From the of, the peugeot 607 looks visually stunning, its rear-end similar to a mercedes. The price is 29,000 brand new, which is expensive for a peugeot, but replace the badge with a BMW or Audi, and you would have people queing up.
