We tend to use the 14" portable television in the kitchen rather a lot. Our kitchen is the hub of the house, and when our previous model went bang and omitted a large cloud of smoke, (literally!) two months out of a one year warranty I would add, we decided to look around for a flat panel TV, as the old portables take up so much room on the worktop. We visited the local electrical retail stores, only to find that the ones we looked at were generally out of stock (of course), and would take weeks to come in, and when we did find one we wanted in stock in another store, found it was £50 more ...
