Advantages: great picture and at a reasonable price Disadvantages: none that come to mind
...forked out £399.99 for the Philips 32PFL5403D to enable me to move into the 21st century and experience the true viewing purity of HD performance. I'm not a big watcher of television and don't have acres of space so the larger more expensive models were easy to ignore and I honestly think I have unearthed a gem of a television that didn't break the bank.
The set up and installation was a piece of cake as the flat screen is really easy to put into ... ...with most of the weight in the base and lower part of the unit to give it balance when placed on any flat surface. I opted to buy a specialist television stand for a further £69.99 as the high-tec look really didn'y fit in with the oak stand my old television was perched on. I have to say that it really does give off an air of quality and looks like a real high end television set, something I had expected from such a well known manufacturer.
