Advantages: Simple to use Disadvantages: Less than ideal picture quality
On paper, there's a lot to like about digital photo frames; a way of showing digital pictures without having to resort to 'hard copy' and using considerably less power than a laptop PC.
I have one or two reservations about this unit, although there's a few features that many people will consider quite useful.
The concept is perfectly sound; a device which is far less complicated to use than a 'proper' computer, a means of displaying a slideshow, ... ...it to have a drawback, it would be the display itself, and the fact you need an external power supply.
There's also minimal internal memory, so you'll be reliant on having to use your own flash cards, or an external device to hold the pictures themselves.
What you get is a plastic tablet, which is comparable in size and weight to a standard photo frame. On the front is a black plastic bezel, and on the back, a number of buttons, various sockets ...
