...is the cheapest of the Philips range of Blu-Ray players, but it is also BDP 2.0, so you access the latest special features via the internet (as well as update the firmware) through an ethernet cable (remember to buy one). Be aware that you do need to put at least a 1GB memory stick in the back to access these features, as unlike more expensive models it does not have any memory built in. However, if you are like me and are more concerned with the ... ...and are older models, whereas Philips released theirs in May 2009. Whichever Blu-Ray player you do decide to buy, remember to opt for 1.1 or 2.0 and is able to receive firmware updates to ensure it will continue to play blu-ray discs in the coming years. Overall, I am very happy with this player, which looks nice, works well and packs a lot of connectivity considering the price and the competition.
