Advantages: DTS, Dolby 5.1, Dolby Pro Logic II, DivX playback Disadvantages: No SPDIF inputs/outputs

I was attracted to this model as it offered DivX playback as well as DTS surround sound (not two things you're likely to see on the same disc but both come with their own merits). The DTS sound is amazing, I spent several minutes just switching 5.1 sound and DTS just to hear the difference.
It also plays Dolby Pro Logic II from freeview broadcasts and includes a very clean ... ...and well insulated so they don't get damaged if stepped on. The only complaint I have is that they didn't include 5.1 channel inputs as well as outputs, I would have preferred a system with SPDIF input so I could attach my laptop for surround sound but it only has stereo inputs.

...even working. i bought a philips 32" flat screen the same time as these and it all cost 1750 euros, im just waiting for that to break down now. it makes me sick that companies can sell electrical equipment for such high prices and then they dont even work. i always thought philips was an expensive make because it was a good make. i couldnt have been more wrong. well i am going to fight to get a replacement or my money back because i dont think they ...

This is a great buy, as i hve not found a fault with it. The cables are long enough for any room ( they can be easily hidden as they are quite thin ). The speakers themselves are small ( but thats not a downfall as it still produces a smooth quality sound ) this is an advantage. Would recomend this too anyone. I would also recomend buying speaker stands. ...
