Advantages: Great looking, nicely designed. Swivel is great. Disadvantages: Can't play some DVD's. Older DVD's seemed to have more problems.

However, this Philips PET1030 is not perfect. For some unknown reason, it refuses to remember the last played position and properly resumes playing for some commercial DVD discs. Also it will refuse to play some DVD's no idea why, think it makes up its own mind.
Summary: I love the player and the car mount kit. This is probably the best player in the market. However, I have problems playing some DVD's.
