Philosophy was founded in 1996. They specialise in beauty products formulated with 'scientifically proven' ingredients. Purity Made Simple The Purity Made Simple collection from Philosophy includes three cleansing products - an oil, a gel and a cleansing liquid. I will be discussing my use of the 'One Step Facial Cleanser' aka '3 in 1 Cleanser For Face and Eyes'. PURE CLEAN AND FRESH SKIN AT LAST! 11/04/2005

Advantages Can be used on face and eye makeup and it dissolves it away!
Disadvantages Quite pricey!

I was stumped! Its a Monday morning yet again ,another weekend of gigging had taken place and a residue of the thick stage makeup I had wore the last three nights had left its mark firmly on my pillow! I slowly stumbled into the bathroom looked in the mirror!!! And AARRRRRRGGGHHHHHHH!!!! I look like something from the Rocky horror picture show with big black rings of mascara and eyeliner halfway smudged down my cheeks and under my eyes! "How could this be?" I thought. Purity Made Simple is an all in one make up remover, eye make up remover and cleanser in one. There are many cleansers around and often it is difficult to pick one, even if you know your skin type, the seasonal weather can be a great factor. Purity is a great one step cleanser for all skin types, which makes the job pretty simple as you don't have to switch cleansers due to the season. Advantages feels nice, cleans and refreshes skin
Disadvantages nothing special to make it worth the price

This is a product I've heard so much about and really wanted to try, it was only the hefty pricetag that was stopping me, so I was thrilled to receive a 30ml bottle in my beauty advent calendar before Christmas. The usual price for this product is £8 for 90ml, £17.50 for 236ml or £28.50 for 471ml. It comes in a clear plastic bottle so you can always easily see when it's running out, and it has a flip top lid that makes it really easy and convenient to use even in the shower with wet hands. THE BOTTLE The bottle is a white semi opaque color with a black lid which is a flip up lid. Advantages Cleanses and refreshes. Unisex, Creamy but not greasy. Great makeup remover.
Disadvantages NONE. seems to work for different skin types = advantage ;0)

I buy the largest bottle of this stuff I can find and use it everyday - morning and night. A small amount goes a long way, so the bottle lasts pretty long, and you really get your money's worth. Purity has a creamy texture that smooths and lathers on skin nicely. It feels quite luxurious while getting your face super clean without drying out your skin. I can get all of my makeup off with this cleanser without having to scrub my face or use separate makeup removers. After using this cleanser, my face feels smooth, clean, and refreshed. The Philosophy range of products are an amazing revelation for the world of health and beauty. The purity cleanser does exactly as it states in the name; creates pure, clean revitalised skin. The cleanser removes the toughest of make up and makes skin tingly with cleaness after use. Even when used on its own, without the rest of the Philosophy range the cleanser helps calm down problem skin and is gentle enough to use on the most sensitive of skin.
