    Phlox. You may have some Phlox in your garden, I have none at the moment but have had in the past and my parents also have grown Phlox. Phlox is a plant genus native to North America family Polemoniaceae... There are nearly 70 species of Phlox some up to 1 1/2 metres tall and suited to the general garden, some short forming low mats of plant. Phlox flowers colours are red and pink shades, also white some are a blue. The word Phlox meaning flame when I look at a tall red phlox flower I can see why it is called that.
