Advantages: hilarious - awsome Disadvantages: hard to put down
My boyfriend whos a serving soldier bought a copy of this book after reading about it in soldier magazine. Having had a brief flick through it, i requested it when he was done. Being a slow reader he bought me my own copy @ £7.99 from waterstones. Not all of them carry it and he did have to pre-order it. the language level is not for the feint hearted, but there are some seriously funny parts that have had me laughing out loud. I am not finished ... ...amused and up reading for some time after i shoud have been fast asleep.
Its listed as a fiction book of a 16 year old lad starting out his career in the mid 80's with the army, though i feel its quite possible that much of it i borne from the actual experience of the authors than of pure fiction .
