You really can start to feel like you are right there as it happens with life like picture quality. There really is nothing else that comes close. Picture quality when gaming on the TV is extreme, especially if through the latest generation of game consoles ... ...must also purchase seperately the Pioneer bracket which comes in at a rather steep £250 (price when installed Jan 2009) and will take 2 reasonably strong men to put up onto the wall. The TV does come with a table stand which is obviously an easier option but in my opinion it just does not have the same effect. As well as this you must consider that even using it on the stand you must have a strong enough platform for it and the TV needs to be secured ...

Advantages: Picture and build quality Disadvantages: Poor sound output from optical out
...have newly upgraded to the Pioneer PDP LX6090, having spent in the region of £15000 in the last six years, due to my satisfaction with the Pioneer products. My cinema system is fully connected with wireworld interconnects to maximise the capability of the Pioneer products. I did keep the Pioneer AX5Ai-S in the system, as although there are no HDMI connections, this AV receiver is more than capable for my needs. I did have to purchase a longer Wireworld ... ...40-50%. The sound from my Pioneer DVR LX70D, via the Wireworld Starlight coaxial cable, to the AV receiver is perfect, making it a mystery why Pioneer have suppressed the Plasma optical out. I telephoned Pioneer technical five times over the space of three weeks, three calls to the same agent, before he finally admitted this problem is inherent in the 9nth generation plasma. This is very disappointing for loyal Pioneer customers who are still using ...

Its awsome in every sense and the only down thing about it is if you have not bought one then you should i can only say read ollie reveiw it says it all !!
Its has a clear picture watching HD pictures is like living inside the TV. As big as it is it does not look out of place on the wall. I have all the wires encased in the wall which gives a smooth finish.Also be the price it is its a lot safer on the wall having 2 dogs ...
