Advantages: clear black screen, fantastic sound, awesome, more more more
Disadvantages: dust, and screen burn (not a problem really)

...buy panasonic, read review on Pioneer and was told best TV to buy. Not wrong there, first very easy to set up, Control is not bad, not great but does the job. Picture is Awesome, with HD will be out of this world but why pay for more. I have owned my Plasma for 3 months and been delighted. The picture quality is great with exceptionally true blacks and sharp definitions. The sound is pretty good too. In terms of setting up, this is easy and quick to do. Although I did not find the instructions that user friendly or particularly inviting to read. Advantages: easy to use with free-view, has energy save mode, easy to set up, great quality
Disadvantages: remote feels abit cheap, at first i had a buzzing noise in the sound and i have heard of a few other people with this problem

I have just brought one of these tv's myself and i was very pleased with its overall performance.
