Advantages Advantages Good value for money and fresh, appealing taste

Disadvantages Disadvantages If you can afford to buy better, buy better

If you are looking for an excellent quality champagne without breaking the bank, than Piper-Heidsieck Brut NV (Non Vintage) is for you. Piper-Heidsieck is one of the "grand marques" of champagne. Advantages Advantages Classic, quality

Disadvantages Disadvantages Can be expensive when not on offer

Piper Heidieck is one of the better Non Vintage champagnes readily available on the UK market. As with probably 90% of champagne, it is DRY (hence the 'Brut'), but it has lovely, bready, slightly yeasty aromas and very gentle, balanced fruit flavours. It has a good, vigourous 'bead' (the speed and size of the bubbles), and retains its bubbles for a good length ... more
