Issues As a franchise the quality of photography is very much variable. There are the obvious benefits of belonging to a national brand. You know they will have all the right equipment, the photos will be processed properly, framed well etc etc However, my own experience resulted in some very poor photos. We decided to have photos taken of our 15 month old son. We were told that if we brought them that day we would get big discounts, however we decided to wait and look through them first and they kindly held our discounts. We set an appointment a couple of days later (on a Sunday) to view the photos and select. 'Lovely' shades of grey instead of the promised white background, bleached out skin and reddish hair rather than the blonde that is plain to see on my little boys head!!!!!!!! I first went to pixie fotos in mother care in cardiff when my son was 3 weeks and the photographers were amazing and they made me and my partner feel so welcome and when they showed us our photos they helped us go through them step by step and told us we can pay the total in up to 8 weeks and since then ive been back again BUT the mobile pixie fotos i saw in boots were totaly different i was rushed in to a desision were the prices were stupid and to top all that i waited the 28 days for them to be delivered and phoned where they said they would re send them (dont think they did in the first ... more
