    DO NOT USE or on your own head be it, you have been warned. I purchased not 1 but 2 42" TV's just before christmas, Delivery was very slow not the delivery time promised on ordering, carefully working out finances, and going through quidco and getting a promise of £25 cashback was within my budget, i got an email from quidco to say Sorry PIXMANIA are refusing to pay as you have already got cashback from another company called petoba, this transpires that they are an affiliate company and they got the cashback instead of me!!     Advantages Advantages None. Not even cheap when the hassle is taken into account.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Many. Promises not met. Complaints not resolved. No customer-commitment demonstrated.

    I wanted an Epson WF7525 printer, and found this product at lo-cost on the Pixmania site. Unfortunately, this was the start of a frustrating and wholly disappointing customer experience. For anyone considering trading with this company, please pause for thought - there is a reason why they are cheap. Any company can make mistakes, and the mark of a good company is the manner in which those mistakes are addressed.     This is the worst company that I have ever dealt with. I purchased a laptop from them in October 2010 as a xmas present for my daughter. The laptop arrived on time I only turned it on to make sure that the main screen was working. After my daughter opened it on xmas day she followed the instructions to make a back-up of the drivers etc. This is when we found out that the dvd writer/player was not working.     Disadvantages Disadvantages Difficult to comprehend in paricular adding and subtracting purchases

    Have bought from Pixmania before as prices are very good. However, website is a bit clunky especially when you are trying to add or subtract items. Did not get that you could use Paypal if you buy an "out of box" item! Did not say this anywhere. Delivery times are good considering goods come from France. My main quibble is that my purchase arrived and looked as if item had been removed already (polystyrene damaged). More importantly the item had a very visible scratch on the fascia. Decided to return. This is where the delivery times kick in as it took three days to arrive, several days to go ... more

    First of all, I must say that I am writing this review only because after a transaction with Pixmania UK I have received an automatic email from the Customer Service director who expressly asked me to leave a comment about my experience with Pixmania on Ciao, to "improve the quality of the services we provide". My review concerns my experience of shopping with them rather than simply using the website. If you're ONLY looking for a review assessing the design of the website, you DON'T need to read further.     They don’t even deserve one star, this company should NOT be trading, they have extremely poor customer service. I recently ordered a laptop just before Christmas (23rd December 2011) I wanted to cancel the order as I had found another laptop I preferred. I contacted pixmania via email asking to cancel the order and wanted a refund. I was informed by pixmania that as they had already dispatched the product.     Disadvantages Disadvantages Pixmania did not have the goods I required in stock for at least18 days (cancelled ??when in stock)

    I placed an order for 2 TVs, 2 washing machines and one dishwasher on the 31st of December. The TVs arrived in good time but I had 2 emails and a telephone call to tell me that the other items were not in stock yet(changing the expected date of in stock each time) I find it very annoying that this firm was selling items it did not have in stock and therefore cancelled the order on the 18th of January. Insult to injury they then refunded an amount £29 less than what it should have been. Following a lengthy conversation they admitted their mistake and refunded the extra amount.     Fantastic MP3 Player. Perfect size, simple and very easy to operate and upload music. Earphones are a good tight fit and sound quality is excellent. I purchased the Speedo armband also which is perfect for me as I don't use goggles. Impressive build quality and seems to be a very sturdy, well made unit. Does get a lot of attention and requests of what it is and where I bought it. Have last week used it when Snowboarding in the Scottish Highlands and the buttons can be easily operated even with gloves on.     Pixmania are the first company I go to when looking for electricals; expecially camers. It is easy to compare, buy and receive and I have no complaints over customer service at all. The main products I by on there are cameras, i go through them like theres no tomorrow! Pixmania has always been an easy website to use, but the current design and layout of the website is fantastic because as you hover your mouse across the tabs at the top it gives you a drop down menu of the list of items in that section.     Advantages Advantages Quality of image, pictures, plus big zoom with built in stability correction.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Need to manually release the pop up flash.

    Superb camera in all respects, quality of the image on the screen is great and the pictures are superb. I am not an expert by any means, but the fact that it is a point and shoot in it's basic form ideal for somebody like me. No doubt as time progresses I will get a bit more adventurous with the wealth of other facilities. I particularly like the powerful optical zoom and the fact that it has a self timer, also that is so compact that it easily fits in my coat pocket.
