Advantages Fantastic site and I can always trust that Pixmania has the products I want at the best value price
Disadvantages Maybe some more work on the VIPix discounts in terms of TV/Computer

When using Pixmania I have been astounded by the price of the high quality kit that they stock. In comparison to other online shopping sites Pixmania have never dissappointed. However by using Pixmania not only do you receive fantastic pricing but the customer service is second to none. Deliveries are always extremely quick and online help and responses to emails prompt and helpful. I would not have any hesitation in reccomending Pixmania to colleagues, friends or family. Advantages Easy to use
Disadvantages European two pin plug

I was disappointed that the battery charger has a european two pin plug on it. There was an adapter plug,which had been added to the outer box...... just a loose plug not in a package, this looked like a used plug., and looked as though it had been added as an afterthought.I like the camera, it is easy to use and I love the colour.Communication was good as was the delivery time, I should have been told about the plug though, this would definately have detered me from buying from this supplier.The web site was easy to navigate and the price was good as was communication after the despatch of ... more

Advantages Great value for money. Its a beautiful object that will grace any living area. It performs well.

I bought the Samsung UE40D6510 40" Full HD LED 3D TV after having done a great deal of research, looking in showrooms and reading others' reviews about it. Finally i found the fantastic price on Pixmania and went straight ahead with it...the set is excellent and easy to set up. I bought it to watch streamed material from my Apple TV and also to mirror the content off my iPad2. So far I have not been disappointed. I ordered a tomtom satnav, pixmania had the best price and also offered a 1 to 2 day delivery. Unfortunately the advertised 1 to 2 day delivery returned as a 3 to 4 day delivery in order confirmation email. As this was not suitable for my needs I emailed (difficult to find any other more immediate means of communication) to cancel this order and eventually I was told the label had already been attached and that it was too late to cancel. Not that it had already left the depot but that a sticker was on the package. The satnav did not arrive the next day or the following day but the one after ... more

Disadvantages Never got delivered nor got any information about it!!

Worse service I have ever seen! I bought a TV that was supposed to be delivered in 2-3 days. 8 days later the product had not yet been delivered, nor there was any sort of tracking that I could do. I gave them a call to inquire about the TV and... they explained to me that they had sold the last one to somebody else and do not have it on stock anymore, nor they will get it! Hadn't I called them I would have been waiting (with no news whatsoever) even longer, nor being refunded. What kind of service is this??? Advantages Prices
Disadvantages Difficult to comprehend in paricular adding and subtracting purchases

Have bought from Pixmania before as prices are very good. However, website is a bit clunky especially when you are trying to add or subtract items. Did not get that you could use Paypal if you buy an "out of box" item! Did not say this anywhere. Delivery times are good considering goods come from France. My main quibble is that my purchase arrived and looked as if item had been removed already (polystyrene damaged). More importantly the item had a very visible scratch on the fascia. Decided to return. This is where the delivery times kick in as it took three days to arrive, several days to go ... more

A seriously great Camcorder for a reasonable price 25/04/2012

Advantages Extremely easy to set up and use pretty much immediately after charging the battery
Disadvantages Slightly awkward playback between video and stills on my tv (that may be just me ?)

After reading several reviews and nearly buying a different version of this Panasonic (the 60), I decided to spend a little more and buy the better version HDC - SD900. So far, I'm very pleased that I have. From receiving the product, it took about 2 hours to charge the battery and then I was up and running. It's extremely easy to just point and shoot - Expect some excellent HD quality footage without really having to try !! This is the worst company that I have ever dealt with. I purchased a laptop from them in October 2010 as a xmas present for my daughter. The laptop arrived on time I only turned it on to make sure that the main screen was working. After my daughter opened it on xmas day she followed the instructions to make a back-up of the drivers etc. This is when we found out that the dvd writer/player was not working. I returned the laptop to Pixmania around the 7th of January 2011 for repair. About 1 week later I phoned to see what the status of the laptop was to be informed that it was in the warehouse ... more

Nikon S9100 compact digital camera 02/04/2012

Advantages Quality of image, pictures, plus big zoom with built in stability correction.
Disadvantages Need to manually release the pop up flash.

Superb camera in all respects, quality of the image on the screen is great and the pictures are superb. I am not an expert by any means, but the fact that it is a point and shoot in it's basic form ideal for somebody like me. No doubt as time progresses I will get a bit more adventurous with the wealth of other facilities. I particularly like the powerful optical zoom and the fact that it has a self timer, also that is so compact that it easily fits in my coat pocket.
