I purchased a £ 750 Projector from them. The web site incdicated it was 'In Stock'. After several days it hadn't turned up despite paying a premium price, so I contacted them. They said there had been a problem with my transaction and I needed to send in a Photo copy of my passport and a utility bill ! I have traded with pixmania since about 2006, I have bought about 6 or 7 items total cost of over £600 and have never had any problems with them. Most things you buy come with a european plug (as pixmania is based in France) but all items shipped to the UK come with a free converter. I would love to be reviewing the product I ordered.... but I still have not got it! I selected the 3 day delivery option as I did not need it for 5 days - when I was due to leave the country. 10 days... TEN DAYS later, they finally dispatch it!!!! so to allow for 3 days delivery time now.. that will make 13 days! Thanks very very much. now I will have to convince someone to post it onto me overseas! Looked around and the LG was by far the best 1080p 32" LCD for the price. When it arrived it is well packaged and protected. You will need a phillips head screwdriver for the stand, it needs 8 screws (provided) and gives the screen a very stable base. The connectors are all in the center at the back - which might cause problems the more you have plugged in - but for me at least everything fits well and there are no obvious strain points on any cable. ...

You are presented with a short wizard when you first switch it on, and as long as you have a decent digital signal you should be up and running watching Freeview in about 5 minutes. I chose the buy now/pay later option, but after a few days, I phoned them and was told that the validation would take at least 10 days. It was still 'in stock', so I cancelled and reordered using a credit card verified using the MasterCard SecureCode. While I understand there are certain security issues with deliveries to alternate addresses I am a single working man who is never at home and use a friends business to accept deliveries.
