Something for the weekend?

Advantages: Tasty, easy to cook
Disadvantages: Maybe a little pricey for shop bought

...Tesco and opted for a Pizza Express American simple pepperoni. I knew Pizza Express as a chain of pizza restaurants and take-away but I had never bought a ready made pizza with their name from a supermarket. The pizza I chose came in quite a good quality box, dark blue with Pizza Express motif in white lettering and the name of the pizza. The packaging is quite attractive and did stand out from the rest, my only criticism is that you didn’t get a ...
...of the history of the Pizza Express and the nutritional information. Our pizza weighed 510g and was large enough for my husband and me. I found the pizza very easy to prepare and the cooking instructions were very accurate, for a fan oven 180 c for 10-12 minutes. When I opened up the box the pizza was contained in an inner cellophane covering and was set on a base disc, the pizza did look appetising and did have a good covering of topping. I counted ...

Just Not The Same

Advantages: not bad pizza
Disadvantages: too pricey

I love Pizza Express. I'd probably marry it, if it were a lady. In fact, I love it so much I'd probably marry it even if it wasn't a lady. As long as it wasn't a man. I want to make that quite clear. ...Anyway, I purchased the Pizza Express American Hot (my favourite) and ran home with it. That's right: ran. That's how excited I was. I think I might have knocked over an old person accidentally, but no matter. They'll probably be all right. I got back to my flat, turned on the oven, and in went the pizza. In eighteen minutes, I thought, I going to be enjoying lovely Pizza Express pizza just like it is in the restaurant. I settled myself at the dining ...

Disadvantages: you miss out on the pizza express experience

..."People tire of over-complicated food. Pizza satisfies the craving for something plain and rustic." - peter Boizot, founder of pizza express(1965 Wardour St London), a group of over 320 restaurants around the UK . At last you can now eat high quality pizza at home! as long as you remember to drizzle olive oil around the edges & make sure your oven is hot enough you cant go far wrong with the pizza express retail pizzas on offer. I have been a fan ...
...cooking, but heck who cooks pizza in microwaves (not me any more those days are behind me) The packaging is very basic, a white box with blue lettering & the brand logo cut out of the top so you can see the shrink wrapped pizza inside. Looks a little bit like Tesco value products at a distance which could be off putting if you have never heard of the restaurants. The base is a little more doughy than the ones in the restaurants, nowhere near as ...
