Rescue me!

Advantages: Hours and hours of gameplay
Disadvantages: Can be repetative

My husband bought me a Nintendo DS lite for my birthday, very kind of him, I think it is to keep me busy so I don't notice the football is on! I do love the DS, my only problem being the expense of the games, normally Ł25 - Ł30 for the new releases. When browsing in Woolworths on the weekend, I found Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, Blue rescue team, which had been reduced to Ł14.00. I've always loved pokemon so I quickly snapped it up. Once home, I quickly ...
...properly) and started up the game. To my suprise, you have to fill out a little multiple choice personality quiz to begin. This decides what your nature is and therefore which pokemon you will be. Your gender also plays a part, as some pokemon are only either male or female. I turned out to be Bulbasoar and was prompted to enter a name. You then get to decide who is going to be your partner from a choice of ten pokemon. I chose Pikachu because he ...

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Unwrapped

Advantages: Long Play Life, Introduction of Pokemon in 3-D on the Nintendo DS
Disadvantages: Can get Repetitive, Minimal use of Touch Screen

With the release of the Nintendo DS, a world of new ways to play were introduced but as many gamers found out, there was no Pokemon RPG game to go with it and the only Pokemon game on offer was Pokemon Dash. But after a long wait, the Nintendo DS finally got its first Pokemon RPG in the form of POKEMON MYSTERY DUNGEON: BLUE RESCUE TEAM. THE GAME As you load up the game, you are greeted with a colourful title screen with Pelipper occasionally flying ...
...the main menu shows up with two options and some chirpy music. Once you chose the new game option, your POKEMON MYSTERY DUNGEON experience begins. The screen goes black and the game asks you for some information about you (don't worry; it won't take your credit card details). You must now take a personality test to determine which pokemon you will become. This personality test comprises of a selection of randomly chosen questions about you. Once ...

A Brand New Pokemon Game

Advantages: Really fun and easy to play
Disadvantages: Takes for ever to complete!

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team - Nintendo DS INTRODUCTION Last year I got a Nintendo DS at my birthday and I was looking for a pokemon game for it, as I have all the other GBA and GBC Pokemon games because I LOVE Pokemon. But sadly, there were no Pokemon games that I didn't already have! Then, at Christmas, I got Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team. I think it's really good but it wasn't as good as some of the earlier Pokemon games. ...
...personality test. Answer this test truthfully and you'll get a Pokemon that matches youre personality. For example: I said that I am quite lonely (which I am) so I got Cubone - the lonely pokemon. Once you have taken the personality test you will be asked to pick a partner pokemon. This Pokemon will soon become your friend and will stick by you all through the game. After this, your will then wake up. Then you will find out that you are a human ...

Gotta Help Them All!!!!!

Advantages: Fun, Long Game,
Disadvantages: can be quite hard

After playing all the previous pokemon games on GBA like Pokemon Yellow and Pokemon Sapphire i decided to have a go at this one on the NDS and boy was the game worth its money. In the previous Pokemon games you play as a human with your pokemon in a Pokeball and battling against other pokemon but in this game you play as a Pokemon, with a Pokemon as your partner. You are a rescue team trying to rescue other Pokemon from various places like Mt Blaze, ...
...The game starts with a Human turning in to a Pokemon. You have to do a personality test to choose which pokemon you are. There are sixteen pokemon that you could be and they are: Bulbasaur, Charmander, Chikorita, Cubone, Cyndaquil, Eevee, Machop, Meowth, Mudkip, Pikachu, Psyduck, Skitty, Squirtle, Torchic, Totodile and Treecko. You then have to pick a Partner for you to rescue other pokemon with. There are ten Pokemon you can choose to be your partner ...

Worst pokemon game yet.

Advantages: Its to do with pokemon
Disadvantages: pointless, stupid, bad gameplay in general, expensive

When I first bought this game, I thought 'Wow, new Pokemon game, it must be awesome!' Then I played on it. I would say this is one of the most awful games I have ever been on. It's monotonous, same all the way through, has no plot basically. It follows the story of squirtle and pikachu - you are the lead pokemon, and you can have a rescue group of up to 3 other pokemon whom you meet and rescue from other missions. The basic idea of the game is you ...
...getting attacked by enemies, you rescue pokemon and the normal world is only there for you to shop and save your game. Pretty much a totally pointless game unless you are a hardcore pokemon fan. I don't recommend you buy this game, its a piece of useless, expensive and badly planned out rubbish. ...

Pokemon dungeon, blue team

Advantages: Great game for pokemon lovers
Disadvantages: could be a bit confusing if you don't know the story

...rescue team with a partner Pokémon and save the day. The player meets loads of different Pokémon on various missions while trying to uncover their true meaning and destiny. An interesting story for everyone of adventure and friendship. I think this game is aimed towards the younger generation but can be enjoyed by all types of players. Things that i most like about this game would be the fact it is a simple and easy game to play, ongoing and you ...

Pokémon Dungeon: GO Blue Team?

Advantages: Fun, Worth Money
Disadvantages: - None -

You may think you know what to expect when you buy a pokemon game, the traditional idea of playing as a trainer, buy pokeballs, find/catch all the pokemon and that’s it, not this time. I think that's what makes this particular game so good, you play as whatever pokemon you choose to be from a select few and then go on a missions to save pokemon in trouble but this is only really a side story to why you are actually there, you were a human and you ...
...and how/when you can turn back into a human. You can also choose who will help you on your missions, of course I chose pikachu who I became close friends with along our many journeys which pushed up to the limits. Each mission has a letter next to it which tells you how difficult the mission is to be, the first one you should find will be either E or D level usually which means that the mission should be relatively easy but have a low reward, of ...

Boring game.

Advantages: Fun for 5 minutes.
Disadvantages: Repetitive and boring

Repetitive, boring game that goes against all the great pokemon classic formulae. The game was great to start with, but got boring very quickly. It is so repetitive, you just do the same thing (saving pokemon) over and over again. The graphics are the standard pokemon graphics, which are good, and the sound is repetitive and annoying. I was greatly looking forward to the first pokemon ds game, and this just ruined it for me. They had a perfect formula ...
