Advantages Advantages easy to use, and you don't have to wait long to see the photos

Disadvantages Disadvantages can be a bit tricky at first to get use to

I find my camera comes in very handy. My grandchildren especially like it as they do not have to wait long to see the photos that I have taken of them. Another advantage is that if the photo that you have taken has not come out too well you can take another without having to wait to send a film away for developing. mine came in very handy recently when my son had his car broken into. He was able to take instant photos which were invaluable for the insurance company. I have also used it myself to photograph damage that was done to my house while having double glazing fitted to show to the ... more

Advantages Advantages Big and chunky(good for children) and instant pictures

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not many features, films are expensive

The polaroid P camera, I thought was pretty fun, although it was a bit big and chunky, this could be an advantage, say if you were buying it for a child. I liked the fact that it gives instant pictures. The main problem with this camera is not the price of the actual camera. The price is fairly resonable, but the price of the film however is not. The film can cost up £12 for 10 photos, working out at £1.20 a photo. You know those pictures you take where the person moves, blinks or doesn't smile?? It's all very well having the odd one of these on a normal camera, but on a polaroid you would be ... more

Advantages Advantages Easy to use once all settings were adjusted

Disadvantages Disadvantages Instruction booklet... need I say more?

My sis received this camera for her birthday, and I have to say that I have never seen such poor quality instructions along with the camera. OK, so it's a polaroid and it's a simple point-and-click, but even so some helpful hints would have been useful! Fortunately the camera is working fine, no thanks to the instruction book though! I'd argue that the instructions were aimed at people who've used Polaroid before, and it may be helpful to buy from a specialist camera shop who can advise you on the settings and things for a decent picture. Apart from that, once finally working, the pics were ... more

    Advantages Advantages Fun

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Cost

A polaroid camera is fun as well as practical. You can get your photos immediately so you don't have to bother about developing it or worry about forgetting to. The initial camera is not epensive but you have to bear in mind the costs of the film. These can make the running of the camera very expensive. Not only is the cost of a single film dearer than an ordinary film and the developing costs but the cheapest films which are not cheap only have about 12 photos on them. Once the novelty of the camera has worn off you will definately not use it for everyday photos and you will most probably ... more

    Advantages Advantages good quick pictures

    Disadvantages Disadvantages film is expensive

This was the first polaroid model made. I like the shape and design. The photos show up in about 3 minutes, but it's fun to watch them develop. The film come is tens costing £9 I think and it's the 600 extreme film for this model. The camera itself actually costs £24.99 which is good. The camera is more suitable for special occasions or meeting famous people, otherwise I would suggest a normal camera. This is a good camera for younger people that are wanting a camera not too complicated and quite cheap. You get a block of film and put it in the camera that's it and your ready to snap away ... more

    Advantages Advantages pictures in seconds

Disadvantages Disadvantages cost of the films

Polaroid is a good product, and I do not think that people would not agree with me about it, but it is very expensive to keep taking pictures and not worry about the cost of the film. Last time one film was about £18pounds. For the same price I can take lots of pictures with my normal camera. The concept of the Polaroid camera is very nice but the cost is above of the average budget, what makes difficult to sell the product. Also you have digital cameras now, so you pay more than a Polaroid, but once you've done it, you have a lot more. In my oppinion Polaroid is right in the middle, is between ... more

Advantages Advantages easy to use, instant satisfaction

    Disadvantages Disadvantages to costly.

I was going to a school function where the kids were dressed up in their costumes. I brought along the camera. It was great to be able to take pictures of the kids and give them to their parents right then and there. Not having to wait for developement and if I would see the parents again. However doing it this way can be very expensive. That is the only bad thing about the film... Alot of money can be spent in getting the film and then again if you want more of the same pictures. I feel though it would be a good idea some of the times to bring it along for the instant satisfaction of having ... more

    Advantages Advantages instant piccies

    Disadvantages Disadvantages chunky and heavy

A polaroid camera is a perfect camera for those naughty pictures, that would be embarrrasing picking up from your local chemist. I was happy to find that the cameras had decreased in price and where much cheaper to buy. Not because I wanted to use it for naughty pictures, I just love the fact of instant pictures. I was a little disappointed to find that the price of the films had not decreased much. It is roughly a pound per picture, whicvh to me, a student is a little expensive, so I do stick to the cheaper better quality films. For the price the pictures are not great quality, it is ... more
