4 Stars I love my Pogo! Review with images 14/07/2009
    User recommends the product

Advantages Advantages Can finally print out pictures from my phone and camera, zero ink, double up as stickers

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not compitable with all cameras, still a bit pricey

I saw this one of these Pogo’s on the internet a little while ago and really, really wanted one. When I was browsing Firebox.com recently I saw that they were selling them half price, so I snapped one up! The Pogo is a basically a mini photo printer from Polaroid, you can connect it to your laptop, camera or mobile phone and print photos out. It is available in two colours, black or pink (I got the pink one of course!) and measures 12cm x 6cm. I love the design of the Pogo, it is very simple and basically just looks like a small, solid, rectangular box. It has 'Polaroid' written across the top ... more

Advantages Advantages Instant photo prints from your mobile phone

Disadvantages Disadvantages Each print costs around 20p

I love gadgets and trying out new things so when I read about a little pocket sized printer availabe on the market I just had to know more. The Polaroid PoGo is a very tiny printer that works without ink by printing on to special photo paper, a perfect way to print out photos from your mobile phone and, because it works with Bluetooth, you don't even need to worry about cables. Finding out about the PoGo I saw this printer advertised in a national paper at a special price of £24.99 plus postage and as I read through the advert I became keen to know more about the product. A bit of quick ... more

4 Stars On the go with PoGo Review with images 05/08/2009

Advantages Advantages funky little printer and very easy to use

Disadvantages Disadvantages paper curling (see review)

The basics: 7.2cm x 12cm (fits in your pocket/handbag) Weighs 8oz Built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery Holds 10 sheets of Zink paper USB connection spot Bluetooth class 2 PictBridge The moment I unwrapped this little beauty I wanted to use it. I got the power lead and plugged it in. I didn't wait that required charging time as I was so eager to use it. At least once and then let it charge properly. I let it charge for about 20 minutes so that it would have some power to it. I then took out the pack of 10 sheets of paper that came free with it and slotted them into place. It took me a ... more

Advantages Advantages portable, good print quality, works well with most modern phones/cameras

Disadvantages Disadvantages Zink paper hard to find on High Street, sticky-backed paper has poor adhesion on some surfaces

I have two PoGo printers - black ones, purchased from Misco online in September 2009 for £20 each. The printers work well with Sony Ericsson K800i/K750i mobile phones and modern Canon and Panasonic digital cameras via Bluetooth/USB, as appropriate for each device. PoGo's print quality is very acceptable, though obviously not as good as prints from an inkjet printer. Then again, with PoGo you don't have to worry about replacing cartridges. And PoGo is very portable. However, the special PoGo ZINK paper is hard to find. It's unlikely you'll see it on the High Street. As I did, you'll probably ... more

Advantages Advantages Uses Zink technology (No ink), Takes only 1 minute to print photos, Bluetooth or Pictbridge

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not the best quality

The Pogo is very easy to use simply plug your camera in woth the usb lead or get pictures from your phone ect (As long as the device has Bluetooth). It only takes a minute to print and with its zink technology it is suppose to save you money; the paper costs around £14 for 70 sheets and has a short expire date. The Polaroid Pogo takes 10 sheets of paper at a time. The image quality s actually pretty good but the color contrast could be improved. Photos taken off Facebook ect are lower quality then those taken directly from an slr camera. Overall the product is good for household use but not ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages battery life doesnt last that long

In my opinion the Poloroid Pogo is a great little gadget. Easy to use great results in seconds. Friends and family are amazed at it. Great to take out and to be able to give friends and family a picture of event taken with my phone and printed immediately from my pogo. My husband bought me this gadget for a stocking filler at christmas and I have to say in my opinion it was well worth the money he spent. It has already proven to have been one of the best presents I have ever receieved. I think that this gadget would be a welcome gift to all ages. It really is a little marvel!
