...to receive a bottle of Prada eau de parfum as a Christmas gift last year. I love perfumes and although I have my favourites, I always enjoy a quick spritz of new scents when passing the counters in department stores.
When I opened the wrapping paper and saw the designer name, I was thrilled. Not, lest you be misled that I'm into designer names at all - no Prada, Gucci or Versace for me, I'm afraid! However, it was nice to think that someone had ... ...then but in my opinion, Prada eau de parfum contains too much. And so it lay for a while on my dressing table until I thought I'd try it again but this time with a cunning plan. I held the bottle at arms length, lightly sprayed it in the air and then walked through the spray. After all, it's not too unpleasant in moderation if only it wasn't so strong. Did this work? ...I got samples for the Prada perfume. At first I thought maybe it was a bit strong and that I didn't like it but then once I got used to it I actually quite liked it. It is a very expensive perfume though being Prada so I never bought it but then at Christmas I unwrapped one of my presents to find this perfume and was very happy.
Prada was founded in 1913 by Mario Prada but in 1978 Miuccia Prada the grand daughter took over and put the company to ... ...clothing and of course fragrances. Prada have only recently branched into perfume but I hope they continue as the first one I really like.
With Prada you can always expect sophistication and elegance and that is definitely what they went for when designing the bottle for the perfume. Advantages: Doesn't smell like cats pee on me, which is saying something!! Disadvantages: Run's out too quickly!
I have been wearing Prada eau de parfum now for the past 2 years. At first I only asked for it because I was going through my Prada anything and everything phase. I have to say it's one of the only perfumes that I have gone back for repeated bottles as I am one of these people that perfume usually doesn't suit. Most perfumes on me smell like they've gone off or simply bad.
The bottle itself is classically stylish, and is nice and chunky to hold. ... ...too!! The perfume itself is quite a strong heady scent, especially when you first put it on. It's what I would call a sophisticated smell and my husband says I smell like a real woman in it!! Be, sure to put the normal amount on even though it smells like it could knock your head off when you first spray it on. This is because it mellows out quite quickly leaving this lovely warm musky and sultry smell.

...cute easy too use bottle. Prada perfume is long lasting and smells better the longer it's on your body . I think they also do a body range and am hoping santa will bring me some this this xmas. This is prada's first fragance and will be a classic like all their other products.
