"Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice was my introduction to the so called Classics. Having studied a few Dickens at school, I wasn't really that impressed, but a chance purchase of this book changed my mind. A classic romantic novel, Mr Darcy meets Elizabeth Bennett and begins to fall in love. With Mr Darcy's pride and Elizabeth's prejudice the chance of the two coming together feels so improbable. Despite this, the reader will definitely keep their fingers crossed for the whole book as they see both pairs of lovers encounter each other so frequently, just hoping for their love to flourish enough for marriage.
