Advantages: Very stylish, good looking kettle, easy to see the water level Disadvantages: The lid is not the best design, leads to pouring problems if not fitted properly

Advantages: Looks fantastic Disadvantages: Not very practical!
...eye. Its name was the Prima PGK200. The thing that attracted me the most was thatit looked different from the rest- much more stylish. I went straight out to buy it and it cost me around £29.99.
It's quite round in shape and the best feature of it all is that it's made out of special glass so that it's see-through and you can see the water boiling away. Very theraputic if I may add.
Although the base of this kettle is white in colour you can also ... ...up I would definitely say that this kettle will look chic and stylish in anyone's kitchen. Advantages: Looks trendy, not too heavy Disadvantages: General poor quality, terrible to pour
We put this kettle on our wedding list last year and were looking forward to receiving it as our old kettle was a relic from my student days. However, I wish we had kept it!
The kettle was listed at John Lewis for around £40, and when it was delivered it looked just as good as it had in the shop, so on that score we were pleased.
However, the first time we used it the problem was immediately apparent. The kettle just cannot pour with any kind of ... ...from the spout part to the bottom, to the extent that we can't even aim it into a pan (never mind a tea mug) without getting boiling water all over the work surface. We've tried numerous different pouring methods (bet you didn't know there were 'numerous' methods did you?), and have still had no success. The thing is just a pain! It's clearly a bad design as really so much of the water escapces down the side you only get about half in the cup. Apart ...

Advantages: looks good, good capacity, Disadvantages: slow to boil, spills easily, slightly dangerous
...one,
I came across the Prima Pgk200,look great and sadly that was it,I bought it through Amazon for £29.99,no delivery charge so a good bargain yeah? no!!!! It looks good,it lights up when boiling, has see through glass,so you can see water boiling, has a good capacity 1.5 litre, all good but sadly thats the good points now for the bad.
It takes ages to boil, also seems to overboil,so when it does you really have to switch off,as it takes ages to switch ... ...other kettles you dont actually see it boil.
The slightly dangerous part- the outside of the jug gets really hot,so be careful if you accidentlly touch, it burns, also its spout is really small,so water tends to get everywhere, after 6months I also noticed the plastic cord is beginning to melt,so could be dangerous if hot water eventually rots it away.also it seems to be furring already after just 6months,I live in a soft water area.so this is strange ...

Advantages: Looks nice when new. Disadvantages: Looks shabby very quickly. Switch comes apart if manually turned off.
Bought the kettle because my wife wanted a glass one. Chose it because it looked pretty! This didn't last long as the "chrome" coating very quickly started to come off which made the kettle look dreadful. The other problem is the switch. If you switch off manually before the kettle has switched itself off the switch comes apart inside the kettle. I have become an expert at stripping this kettle to repair the switch. We have now resorted to putting ...
