Lou & James Make A Card With Sticky Stuff! Review with images

AdvantagesHandy, Clean, Does The Job.

DisadvantagesDries Out, Smells, Is Quite Expensive and Hard To Get off Your Fingers!

"...know we can use the Pritt Stick, it's clean and easy for James to use. *** What Is Pritt Stick? *** Pritt Stick is a sticky glue. It comes in a white tube with the Pritt logo on and the word 'Stick' repeated many times underneath the logo going around the tube. The tube has a lid which simply pulls off (not very child proof!) and to access the glue you simply twist the bottom of the tube and the glue will appear. *** Why Choose Pritt ..." Read review

Sticky but with rippling

AdvantagesSticks light things well, good price, easy to use

DisadvantagesCauses rippling under paper

"...decided to buy her some Pritt stick remembering it from my childhood and thinking it would be much better. Pritt stick can be found in many places such as arts and craft shops, discount shops, department stores and even supermarkets so it is really easy to get hold of, I bought it in our local Asda store when I was doing my weekly shopping. Pritt stick is available in a couple of different sizes and I bought the 43g tube for £2 which I didn't think ..." Read review

Do you need to stick??

Advantagesgreat sticky stuff

Disadvantagesmore expensive than some rivals

"...over the stick is the Pritt logo. There is a black turn up and turn down mechanism at the bottom which makes the actual glue stick move up or down. Children are usually quite fascinated by this, and at first twist the glue right to the top, but once the initial attraction has worn off, are usually quite sensible about the whole activity. So, a simple twist moves the glue so that it can be used; twist in the opposite direction, and down it goes again; ..." Read review

This is a Stick Up! Review with images

AdvantagesHandy, not messy

DisadvantagesNot exceptionaly sticky

"...they should have called it Pritt the non messy sticky stuff, but it doesnít have the same ring to it. Glue that isnít sticky is a bit of a misnomer isnít it ? I remember Reginald Perrin, in the 70's, when he started a chain of ĎGrotí shops, which were a kind of anti-consumer society shop, where everything they sold was guaranteed not to work. They sold square wheels and buckets with holes in the bottom, and stuff like that, and I think they even sold ..." Read review

German Glue

AdvantagesIt's the best.

Disadvantagesnone

"...in its home country, meanwhile Pritt is delivered to 121 countries, more than one billion Pritt glue sticks have been sold. What distinguished Pritt from the beginning from other brands was the Ďtwist-up easeí. The Henkel people had studied lipstick applicators and then transferred the mechanism to the glue stick. The result is that the consumers can use glue without getting sticky fingers with this clean and convenient method. Like any other ..." Read review

I'm Sticking to Pritt for Now Review with images

Advantagesreliable, good quality, good price

Disadvantageslid loss, dried out

"...without and that is my Pritt Stick. I am always sticking things down on paper whether it be my art work, autographs that I collect or just tissue paper etc. I have used Pritt Stick ever since I can remember and will go as far to say that I am very loyal to the brand. Pritt Stick is handy and there is probably not an office who doesn't own it. PACKAGING So, if there is one thing that has never changed or that I always think of when I think Pritt ..." Read review

DisadvantagesOnly suitable for paper and similar materials

Sticky yet safe. (Pritt Stick)

AdvantagesQuick to apply and dry.

DisadvantagesNone really, although I don't use it much anymore.

"...a review is the humble Pritt Stick. It was invented in 1968 and by 1971 was sold in over thirty six different countries. "Pritt" being the brand of the glue stick is still a market leader although many other brands of glue stick are now available. The particular stick I have is the 20g one which is relatively small, approx seven centimetres in height. The glue is housed in a predominantly white plastic container with a white easy to twist off cap. ..." Read review

Stuck On You!

Advantagesquick, clean and easy to use

Disadvantagesnone

"Pritt Stick from Henkel The Pritt Stick has to be the best loved glue for paper and office type needs. it has been around for ages and i can totally see why. It is widely avalible and at a really good price. The large tubes come in at around £1 but you can get the smallest ones for around 40pence. This price is a real bargain as they seem to last for ages. I have a 10 gram tube which has been sitting on my desk at home for a good while ..." Read review

For a sticky situation

AdvantagesEasy to use, no mess and good price

DisadvantagesNone

"Pritt stick is to sticks of glue as blu tac is to blue sticky stuff as in being the main name with the product. I'm sure most of us that have children do own a pritt stick in their home somewhere but not just people with children will own these as they have many uses.. Ours was dug out tonight as my son needed to do some sticking for his homework. I prefer Pritt stick over cheaper versions as it doesn't tend to dry out where I've found other makes ..." Read review

Pritt Stick

AdvantagesSee Review

DisadvantagesNone

"I think a Pritt Stick is something that everyone can remember using as a child, or like me as an adult. In the past I have tried various cheaper versions of this type of glue but none have been as good or stuck as well as the original Pritt Stick. The Packaging The Pritt Stick packaging is very distinctive, the glue comes in a stick form within a plastic tube. The tube is mainly white in colour, it has the word Pritt written in white lettering ..." Read review

Nothing compares

Advantagesreally sticks well

Disadvantagesno idea when it will run out!

"...a mess! I find this pritt stick works well when making pictures with glitter on, when the grandchildren make cards and collages and when doing other paper/card crafts. It isn't so sufficient at harder items such as pom poms- these tend to just fall off as they need something more moist to stick them down- or if little wooden objects are attempted to be stuck down. For paper craft though they work really well indeed! === Summary === A great glue ..." Read review

You Pritt!

Advantagesquality, non-solvent, packaging, easy and mess free

Disadvantagesprice compared to other glue

"==Pritt Stick== A Pritt Stick is a stick of glue which can be used to stick pape, card and other materials together. It is perfect for craft use. Pritt Stick is solvent free, non-toxic, acid-free and washable (at 30c). There are different variations available but I am reviewing a standard Pritt Stick. This glue is safe for use by children. The glue is in stick form and presented in a slim, plastic tube which is white, black and red. The tube has ..." Read review

Not as good as I remember

AdvantagesNo mess, doesn't smell, sticks ok on paper

DisadvantagesNot great sticking power on cardboard, leaves lumps, makes paper shrivel and crinkle

"...her house, and thought some Pritt Stick would come in useful. This one was from Staples, and it cost less than £2 for a small stick. I didn't think we'd need more than this so I opted for the smallest size available. In case anyone is from another planet, Pritt Stick is a glue which comes in the form of a solid adhesive stick, with a twist base. It is designed to be quick, easy, and mess-free, which makes it ideal for children to use ..." Read review

Little stick of stickiness.

AdvantagesClean, neat, good value.

DisadvantagesDoesn't stick everything.

"...covered in glue. Then along came Pritt Stick, this was my arty saviour, no longer did I end up covered in runny, sticky glue with my art projects soaked and unusable. Now I was able to precisely apply the glue neatly, exactly where it was needed. Pritt Stick is great for small home art projects, it happily glues paper to paper. Both my kids use it now, mainly for gluing school work sheets into there work books. I use it for gluing down envelopes ..." Read review
