Not only were the tele sales-staff very polite and helpful, the procedure was reasonably quick over the telephone and you didn't have to wait for 20 minutes before connection. When I mentioned having to go to hospital, I was then contacted by a solicitor to claim for our damages. Privilege came up trumps for me. I was getting quotes for over £400 a year from people like Direct Line, AA, Diamond, Norwich Union. But with Privilege, the bill came to just £276 at around £23 per month. Living in Oldham - famous for its car theft - I needed a break. Privilege gave me one. well what can i say about priveledge, when i first took out my policy i was really impressed, i had a brand new car, high powered engine and no no claims and i got fully comp cover for £700, half the price of what most other insurers wanted, they had a deal i was "quoted happy" lol i changed my car and told the insurers they swapped my policy over, once again no problems by now i was in my second year with them and was very happy. then i decided ... Like all insurance companies they will be fine unless you need to make a claim.I have insurance with them,but some of these reviews put me right off.....might get a quote with m+s next time...(seems a very thorough policy)

Had been receiving quotes in the region of £400 with just about every insurance company around. Rang Priviledge on their 0800 number and within 20 mins had a quote that undercut everyone else by £150. The call centre staff were friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. I gave them my debit card number and everything was done there and then. No form filling and no cover note while they waited for proof of no claims bonus. My insurance documents arrived ... ...partner has had insurance with privilege for years. So it seemed logical to get insurance for my car with privilege as well. So after paying the 1st year insurance monthly by DD. Disadvantages: Closed on sunday - so no service

...without the go ahead from Privilege they don't want to know. It now looks as if I will have to take a day off work tomorrow to sort out the insurance, get the windscreen replaced and then get the car its MOT. I know Privilege is cheap - only £240 fully comp for 2 named drivers but obviously at times of difficulty the service is just not there. ...I found an advert for Privilege insurance in a car magazine which i thought i would try as it specialises in quality cars. I did an online quote to get a quote and was suprised to see how cheap they were. I shortly after phoned them to see if everything was in order and that was the correct quote.
