    PROJECT GOTHAM RACING 4 Project Gotham Racing 4 is an arcade style racing game that is only available for the Xbox 360. The game is quite similar to previous Project Gotham games but new with this one is the addition of motorcycles as well as some of the fastest cars on the planet. The game was developed by Bizarre Creations and published by Microsoft Game Studios. Like Project Gotham Racing 3 this one also contains a lot of game modes and more cars than the previous games. Granted, there have been some wonderful circuit-based racers, but, nevertheless, there's nothing quite like charging down a long, narrow straight, side by side with a rival at 200mph or expertly drifting your car within an inch of the barrier and getting away with it to really get the heart pumping.     Project Gotham Racing 4 (PGR4) is, surprise, surprise, number 4 in a very successful series of racing games, first seen in the original xbox, now xbox 360. I was desperate to play this game having played previous PGR's (1 & 2), and having never like any other racing games, I am somewhat loyal to this series.     Wow, this is a fantastic driving game. I always have high expectations for project gotham racing as i have owned all of them. This one is a very good game. I am playing it right now in fact. There are so many new features from the last ones, and the major one is motorbikes. I love them, especially the super fast ones on the test tracks. Nothing like powering around a test track at 200mph with full surround sound on an hd tv. Just beautiful.     Project Gotham Racing is the best racing series going and, in my opinion, PGR 4 is the best racing game out on xbox 360. It has so many different things that you can do, which gives the game a huge lifespan and makes it better than any other racing game. Career- A massive career is present in PGR 4 where you have to work your way up the world drivers leaderboard in an attempt to become world number 1. You play back to back tournaments which have a series of events you must complete and win. Career also features 'invitationals' to earn special cars.     This game is called project Gotham racing in short it is called pgr4, in this review i will call this game pgr4 in short of the actual name (PROJECT GOTHAM RACING 4). Many racing games have been made for the 360, such as Colin Mcrae's dirt, ForzaMotorsport 2 and many other games. All these games have received good reviews by the public and critics but probably one of the most entertaining and simplest games to play has to be pgr4 for the 360.     Project Gotham Racing 4 (PGR4) is the 4th in the series and a return to the good old days. For those of you that hadn't played the previous versions, PGR1 was good, PGR2 was great and PGR3 was sadly a bit of a let down. PGR4 however gets everything right and is a fantastic driving game and fully lives up to all the hype and expectation that preceeded it.     I had Project Gotham 3 for the xbox 360 and it was one of my favourite games, so when I heard about Project Gotham four coming out I was really excitied. I bought this game on the first day of release from Game for £39.99 and couldn't wait to start racing. PGR4 is all about style. The Kudos system awards you points for driving with style and flair. Long powerslides around sweeping bends through to driving on only two wheels. The kudos you earn from racing can be used to buy new vehicles and also new tracks.     Let me say first of all that I haven't actually bought Project Gotham Racing 4. I won an Xbox 360 and was toying with the idea of selling it when a work colleague suggested that I try PGR4. He took the view that this one game alone could persuade me to keep my Xbox. And he was right. This game is tremendous in just about every category. Having come from a history of PS1 and PS2 games, particularly the Gran Turismo series, I didn't hold out a lot of hope for PGR4. How could it possibly compete with the sublime GT2?
