In my University days at the start of each term I loved nothing more than kitting myself out with a new selection of stationary. Sad, I know! On my shopping list each time was a couple of these pukka pads. Pukka pads are a brand of notebook that are available in various sizes - A4, A5 and smaller. They are available in most stores that stock stationary, including supermarkets and also from online retailers. Each size of notebook has the same design and paper inside. These notebooks contain 80gsm paper. The paper is of excellent quality and due to the thickness when you write on one side and ... more

    Advantages Advantages great quality pads

    Disadvantages Disadvantages price

I like to buy good quality note pads when I am writing things down or otherwise I have bits of paper lying everywhere which creates a mess. Also, at work we use these Pukka pads which is why I like using them at home as they are pretty much the best note pads out there and are a very high quality brand. They come in a number of sizes but the A4 is the one I use the most. We order ours at work through a stationery company but you can get hold of these pretty much anywhere as they are that well known. APPEARANCE The Pukka Pad is very distinct it has a metallic like green card cover which has the ... more

Advantages Advantages Good quality paper, easy to remove sheets

    Disadvantages Disadvantages A bit pricey

Pukka Pads I always have a good set of stationary in the house; I find it useful to have notebooks for my work, and for my husbands. I have used a range of different branded stationary throughout the years particularly in my college years when you weren’t provided with stationary. I have found that Pukka pads by far stand out the most! The quality of the paper is superb and when I had to hand in assignments which had to be hand written I wasn’t ashamed when I handed in these good quality sheets filled with writing. Some note books the paper is too thin this of course depends on your budget and ... more

Advantages Advantages Great quality, lightweight, handy size

Disadvantages Disadvantages High price unless reduced

I'm at Uni at the moment which involves taking lots of notes and keeping track of my days, and although i'm a big moleskine fan was finding it too expensive to replace them at the speed i was getting through them, as at £9 a pad it's not cheap! I decided to look around on Amazon for an alternative, and saw the Pukka Pads, which were £10 for a pack of three books with 200 pages per pad. I decided against it and got some cheapo pads from my pound shop but due to the huge lacking of quality went to my local tesco in search of a cheap but decent quality notepad. Well it must of bein meant to be ... more

Advantages Advantages Very good quality paper, nice cover design

Disadvantages Disadvantages Front and back cover will break off with not much effort, very pricey for what it is

As a college student, I need lots of notebooks throughout the school year. My choice is always the Pukka Pad, because it has 160 sheets of good quality paper, and I think that the different designs you can get on the front are very eye catching and appealing. However, because the cover (both front and back) are made of some kind of card material, without care and slightly too rough a treatment will cause them to start folding and breaking at the holes for the ring-binder. I have discovered this many times through putting the notebook constantly in and out of my bag. For the price I would ... more

paper very good quality, easy to rip out if needed to. they also have an attachable pocket for extra storage which can prove handy, nice design and contains everything i need for a little notebook! the paper quality stands out among the rest of the competitors, and the price is also quite good if you want a cheap purchase as you can purchase in a pack as well as seperately. in my opinion i think the fact that the paper is recycled and is another good point to help the eco friendly atmosphere we are looking for these days! the binding is made of a good quality metal and the plastic cover on the ... more
