Advantages Advantages Taste, packaging and quality

Disadvantages Disadvantages None that I can think of in my view.

Both me and my father love our tea and I brought these tea-bags after having quite an in depth discussion with him over the telephone about them ( we really do talk about all-sorts! ) Both of us had previously been discussing how we found that the taste of the tea we normally drink had started to leave a bitter/tangy after taste and somewhat left our mouths quite dry, so he had been looking around for something different when he come across these. He told me how nice they were, even read the little quotes on the packet to me as-well and I thought they sounded rather nice, so when I did my next ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Absolutely none

I 'discovered' Punjana tea Bags by accident when I dashed into my local Somerfield store worrying about the parking limit on my car, grabbed what I thought was my usual brand of Tbag and flew out again. When I got home I was absolutely gobghasted and flabbersmacked, I realized I had unintentionally picked up these Punjana Tbags. Not wanting a five mile journey back to the store I thought I would give them a go. The packaging is quite attractive, the packet holds 80 tea bags and is a foil type paper "box". Punjana is clearly printed across the top of the packet with a picture below of one of ... more

"Pick Punjana tea, pick Punjana tea, savour the flavour, the big tea flavour, pick Punjana tea." Punjana is my favourite tea, the only one I buy for my home and the one I always prefer if I have a choice. I use the tea bags, but when I was growing up my Mother always used the loose tea, and actually to this day still does. My method for making the ultimate cup of take is the one I learned from my Mother. 1. Boil the kettle, at the same time put the teapot onto the hob to heat. I don't use one of those fancy ceramic teapots, I like a stainless steel one that I can safely place on the hob. 2 ... more

5 Stars Quick review of Punjana Tea bags by larmal2 04/01/2008
Punjana Tea has to be the best and tastiest tea on the market! I found that other teas I was buying left a sour and bitter after taste. Punjana is mild, mellow, yet full of flavour! Lovely! Not all places sell this tea, but if you are having problems finding stores that do, I can tell you that I purchase mine from Morrisons.

    Advantages Advantages Great Taste

Disadvantages Disadvantages Hard to get in the United States

I recently received a pack of Punjana Tea bags from a friend who visited the U.K. . I was so impressed by the flavor, I quickly finished the pack and began the search for more. To my chagrin, no one was selling the tea in any place nearby. I have to admit, people from the U.S. typically like watery flavourless teas (as long as individual servings are packaged in some uniquely engineered tea bag) so finding Punjana nearby was hopeless. I then went to the internet and discovered the Thomson's Teas had an online store so I ordered it from the store, completed the money transaction successfully ... more
