AS EASI AS SUNDAY MORNING The Qualcast Easi Trak 320 has had a home in my garage for many years now. My husband and I chose it when we had got too fed up with our previous mower which had plastic blades which were forever breaking and having to be replaced. Several times whilst c the grass was being cut the blade would have to be replaced a few times and sometimes we would run out of replacements. It's annoying to have a lawn which resembles a Mohican. I'm not completely sure where we bought the Easi Trak from as it was a long time ago but I believe it was from B & Q. I don't think this model ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages short cable

This lawnmower was bought the Summer before last when our old manual cylinder mower finally gave up the ghost. The main reasons for purchase were that it was cheap and lightweight. We don't spend a lot of time on garden maintenance, the biggest job is probably to mow the lawn once a week during the Summer months. As I am at home most of the time the mowing falls to me, so I wanted something that wasn't too taxing on the arms. Looks - It looks cheap. It's plastic, bulkier than I was used to but not really that big; green and black with a bright red starter handle and button. The grass clippings ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages unsuitable for large lawns

Absent a lawn mower since last year (the old Flymo had gone to the Big Skip in the sky) and as things were suddenly growing, a new device for keeping the grass in reasonable order was needed. At the weekend, the lady wife suggested a trip to B&Q the following Wednesday when the pensioner discount was available. I checked with Ciao on availability, price and suitability. The Qualcast Easi Trak 320 was in the right price range and with positive reviews. The cheapest price was from Amazon at £57.20. This included free delivery within 10 days. I ordered on a Saturday and by the next Wednesday it ... more

Advantages Advantages Cheap and easy to use

Disadvantages Disadvantages A bit fiddly when using

I had a basic Flymo for years and it stead me very well, its so old now its an antique so decided to update to something similar at the most reasonable price. You have to build it yourself, that took only 20 mins and was fairly easy. It looks like a child's toy but works reasonably well, has a good grass collector. It comes with a metal blade which can be replaced. It is very easy to clean, much easier than my old Flymo and seems a lot safer, I was at risk of electrocution ever time I used the old Flymo. The grass collector is very easy to take off and put back on. Not very good for lines so ... more

I bought this lawnmover to replace a flymo that I had owned for a number of years. This is an extremely light weight mower but that does not detract from its excellant cutting ability. It requires slight assembly before use but nothing more technical than attaching the handles with a phillips screwdriver. There are three height adjustments and these are easy to use. The lowest gives a perfectly adequate cut, okay it's not bowling green standard, but for a normal family garden it is okay. The only draw back I found is if you leave your grass to grow too long, then you will be emptying the ... more
