I myself have wondered how the players have managed to sit on the a broom handle for hours on end. Advantages: Lovely and small - fills in the gaps left by the main novels
Disadvantages: Makes me want to play the game!

What a wonderful little book. Bought on a whim to satisfy a comic relief craving, I was utterly seduced by this tiny tome. Looking for all the world like a battered old book, littered with 'handwritten' amendments, and full of 'facts' about Quidditch. I read it in a single sitting. It has proven very useful for pub quizzes (our local has a Potter fan for a landlord) and is currently acting as a bedtime book for our eldest - a couple of entries ... Read review

I my opinion, this was an irrelevant addition to that Harry Potter collection. I know that it was a good deed for charity and all, but the book was boring and far too informative. I have never read a book written by J K Rowling before that I didn't enjoy, but I suppose that there is a first for everything. I'm glad that she did't decide to write more of this kind of book but it's a good job that she is continuing to write the 'normal' Potter ... Read review

Disadvantages: Felt a bit like a school book

...some of the history of quidditch in this book was absolutely hilarious. especially the descriptions of the origins of the sport. Harry and Ron also put in helpful (or not) comments throughout as if it actually is a text book that has been used in lessons. What I like most about this book is that all the profits go to charity, and that even big stars like J. K. Rowling can find the time to help a good cause.
