Quinoderm Cream for Acne: Fight off those spots!

Advantages: It really works and you will notice much clearer, and spot-free skin.
Disadvantages: It dries out the skin and it will bleach anything that comes into contact with your face.

...ago a friend recommended the Quinoderm cream to me and it became an essential soon after. I haven't used the cream in 2 or 3 years now but recently the spots on my neck have become so bad again (for some strange reason) I've quickly had to buy another tube of this stuff. == What is Quinoderm? == Quinoderm Cream for acne is for people who suffer from acne such as Acne Vulgaris (common acne), acneform eruptions (acne like rash), and folliculitis. In ...
...I should point out that Quinoderm is simply a cream with the active ingredient Benzoyl Peroxide. Any sufferer from acne/spots will notice this straight away, it's often found in any good product aimed at fighting spots. I will also point out that the brand Freederm do a similar cream, at a much more expensive price however you really don't need to spend that sort of money! Indeed, all it will contain is the same Benzoyl Peroxide ingredient and it's ...

Zap those spots - NOW!!

Advantages: Very effective, fairly cheap
Disadvantages: Have to buy from a pharmacy

I was first introduced to Quinoderm about 10 years ago by a work colleague. I was going through a bit of an hormonal stage and having quite a few spots which were really bothering me. I happened to mention it to my colleague and she told me that she'd had a cream from the doctors years ago when she had really bad acne and she'd used it ever since and found it great. I couldn't really be bothered to go to my doctors about it, so I was really pleased ...
...in white writing, the words- Quinoderm for acne. I buy the 25g tube although it is available in 50g, but I find this tube lasts absolutely ages and thats with 3 of us using it. The last time I bought it at Asda's pharmacy, it cost £2.98, which compared to other problem skin products, is very good value. It is only available to buy from a pharmacy though as it is pretty strong and if you've not used it before, you will be given advise on using it. ...

Quinoderm On The Spot

Advantages: Cheap, FairlyEffective
Disadvantages: Can Make Skin Sore, Dry & Cracked

...the counter assitant recommended Quinoderm cream. Now this is familiar, I used Quinoderm as a teenager and always found it effective but I thought it died the death and no longer made. I needed no more convincing, Quinoderm 50g tube at an amazing £2.55. Quinoderm comes in 2 strengths now, Quinoderm 5 for sensitive skins and first time users and normal, bog standard, Quinoderm. Also available in the Quinoderm range is a fash wash, shower gel and ...
...The active ingrediant in Quinoderm is Benzoyl Peroxide, an ingrediant that drys out spots and the claim is that you can't buy a more effective spot rememdy, so I decided to put it to the test.... Upon first opening the tube, I was greeted by a rather noxious, chemical smell, akin to a smell of hospitals but I know with something that is going to be effective, you can't always expect the best smells in the world. I would describe the underlying smell ...

Worked wonders

Advantages: Works better than any prescription medication I've tried, extremely affordable
Disadvantages: Can cause irritations, dehydrates skin, suspected health hazards

...acne sufferers. Quinoderm contains benzoyl peroxide in varying concentration. It was recommended that I started with the lower 5% concentration and worked my way up to 10% but I was eager to see results and bought the 10% version. You're probably expecting me to say that I should have gone for the 5% version, but honestly (and admittedly unlike many users) I had very few problems. Speaking from personal experience, there was some minor irritation ...
...unstylish. Ultimately, for me, Quinoderm is the cheapest, most effective treatment out there for acne. The value is truly unbeatable, I have always bought the 50 gram tube for under £5, which is incredible seeing as it lasts around two months. 25 gram tubes are also available - just remember that there are two versions, one containing 5% BP and the other 10%BP (the highest over-the-counter BP concentration available). I'm aware that there are other ...

Great product and one of the cheaper ones.

Advantages: Clears up spots very quickly
Disadvantages: Can take the colour out of some materials, dries out skin

...50g tubes and 2 strengths Quinoderm Cream Original (10% Benzoyl Peroxide) and Quinoderm 5 Cream (5% Benzoyl Peroxide). This cream contains Benzoyl Peroxide and can bleach some fabrics so be careful when using it. Largest 50g tube costs £3.99 from Boots at the pharmacy counter. Usage and Drawbacks It is recommended to be used 2 to 3 times a day applied all over the face and neck and not just individual spots then rubbed in until cream dissapears. ...
...time users to buy the Quinoderm 5 cream at the prescription counter as it is milder until your skin gets used to the drying effect of the Benzoyl Peroxide then only increase to the 10% strength when you buy the next tube if you have no severe drying effects. The cream does sting a little when applied but the redness is reduced the very next morning after the first use. Summary Hope this has helped anyone out there that suffers from bad skin and ...

I LOVE QUINODERM

Advantages: Very effective, very affordable
Disadvantages: Staines some fabric orange! Skin can become dry, Skin becomes dependant

...old and have been using quinoderm for over a year now and my skin is much clearer than it used to be. I buy the 50g tube from boots for £4.25 every couple of months and use it twice a day. I found that it did take over 2 months before I started seeing real results and my skin became quite dry at times as I was applying it 3 times a day. I thought that if I apply it the maximum recommended times a day (3 times) then I would see good results more ...
...before I went bed. Quinoderm Cream (BPO) is available in 2 strengths; Quinoderm Cream: 10% BPO (25g & 50g tubes) and Quinoderm 5 Cream: 5% BPO for more sensitive skins (50g tube). I never used the one for sensitive skin as my skin doesnt usually react to products. If you start to get rashes or irritation from using the main strengh quinoderm then I would try the 5% BPO (Benzoyl Peroxide) and see how that goes. Quinoderm Cream contains a special ...

Quinoderm face wash

Advantages: Nicer smell than the cream, relatively cheap
Disadvantages: None

...MORE! I have used Quinoderm cream for some years now and although it is effective it does smell strongly and I have the habit of forgetting to apply it or stopping using it when my skin clears up. Always a big mistake - within a few weeks the spots are back! I discovered Quinoderm face wash on one of my internet browsing sessions - I actually discovered Freederm first and tried this (which was far too expensive and didn't make a blind bit of difference!) ...
...facewash at half the price of Freederm. I thought I'd give it a go and although there aren't instant results I have been very pleasantly surprised by it. The facewash is nice to apply - albeit blue so it reminds my of clearasil. It smells nice as well and doesn't have the same smell as the cream (thank goodness!) It doesn't dry my skin any more than water does either. After 6 months of using it daily (only in the mornings, I use a witchhazel cleanser ...

Quinoderm

Advantages: Clears up spots
Disadvantages: Dries up skin

I was recommended Quinoderm by a friend at work, she had been suffering from spots and said that this really helped her skin calm down. So i brought a tube from my local chemist. it cost me £6.99. The cream contains Benzyl Peroxide which is the best product for spots and acne. The cream is white, quite thick and smells quite stongly. It stings slightly when applied. The instructions advise you to rub the cream in till it disappears and use it ...
...cream dries up the exisiting spots very quickly, but if you have sensitive or dry skin this cream will probably be too harsh for you. I have noticed that after using the cream for 4 months, my skin has got much better and my complexion looks much clearer. I hardly get many breakouts now as I did before. At first the cream made my skin very dry so i had to remember to put a day cream on first thing in the morning and my skin was ok. I would recommend ...

Get more confidence

Advantages: Clearer Dryer Skin
Disadvantages: None

Although i am nearly 30 i have suffered from Acne since being a teenager. I have tried all face washes, cleansers, soaps, tablets and even herbal remedies. Some have worked for a short while but never really 'cured' my problem. It has left me with less confidence and feeling very low about my self. Ive recently noticed on TV adverts for more medicated creams, rather than just teenage face washes. I therefore on one gloomy day when i was feeling ...

Much cheaper than others on the market but he was adament it is one of the best. I started using the cream straight away and within hours may acne felt less and the aching pain had subsided. It felt like a pain killer for my face. You are advised to use the cream 2-3 times a ...
