Advantages Advantages Tasted nice, fairly good for you, smart packaging

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not as creamy as it might be

Whilst shopping in Tesco’s the other week I decided to take a look for a different brand of low fat yoghurt to try. I usually buy Muller Light but I just fancied a change. I saw a pot of Rachel’s Organic Luscious Low Fat Bio Live Yoghurt with Vanilla – goodness I hope the yoghurt is as much of a mouthful as the name of it! The pot contained 350g and cost £1.59. As I live in Llandudno and Rachel’s is a Welsh company I thought I would support the local firm and give it a try. The tub is an ordinary shape – no squares or ridges – and is obviously a bit bigger that the individual sized tubs! It is ... more

    Advantages Advantages really nice

    Disadvantages Disadvantages price

Rachel makes good yoghurt one she makes very well is the vanilla one that I consume. I have been eating a lot of yoghurt recently. One I enjoy is Rachel's organic fat free vanilla yoghurt. I usually buy mine in tesco's, its easy foe me to shop there. Rachel's vanilla yoghurt is in a 450g pot quite a plain but attractive black and white pattern with a single creamy yellow flower on the label. This yoghurt costs£1.16 for the large 450g pot which is about 4 servings. This yoghurt is quite thick and a creamy texture and colour. It tastes good too I often buy the yeo valley vanilla yoghurt too. I ... more

    Advantages Advantages Delicious yoghurt

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Tubs too big

Rachael's organic vanilla yoghurt tastes amazing. You can buy it in most supermarkets, and i usually buy mine in either Asda or Tesco's. Its good quality for the cost, which is about £1.09 for a big tub, and the quantity etc equates to less than the equivalent in mullerlight. The calories are also about the same. It tastes delicious, almost like your eating fresh pods of vanilla. Its lovely and smooth textured and a nice creamy natural looking yoghurt. Worth trying is to put some on chopped up strawberries and banana, which is really nice as a dessert. I often eat it in large amounts when i am ... more

1 Star Quick review of Rachel's Organic Bio-live LOW FAT Yogurt - Vanilla by turveyman 20/11/2007
Nice product if you can seperate 4 packs into single units. On the last two occasions when trying to separate a pack the yougurt containers have split and the contents spilled out. There is obviously a quality problem with the packaging. I will not be purchasing this product in future. David White
