Time for the Radox

Advantages: Fairly cheap, Lovely smell
Disadvantages: May not work for some of us

I have memories of Radox always being on my Grandparent's bathroom window, my Grandad still uses the green version to this day & it is also a firm favourite of mine on my windowsil now. The Radox muscle soak variety is my favourite and one I have used for 4-5 years regularly, mainly because it does ease and soothe my achey muscles, it smells lovely and I get lots of foam from a small amount, so here's my review of one of my all time favourite bath ...
...their slogan 'Relax in a Radox bath' and the first liquid versions of the salts was launched, a blue liquid in a glass bottle. The 70' brought the first shower gel made by Radox, which was incidentially the first shower gel to feature a hook to hang it up in the shower. In the 80's Radox developed their liquid soap, calle 'Suersoap' as an alternative to soap bars. The 90's brought the new, richer bubble baths called Radox Solutions, these cotianed ...

Ease those aching muscles

Advantages: Smells good, relaxes the muscles, lots of bubbles.
Disadvantages: Does it really have any more healing properties than any other bubble bath?

Radox is a well known manufacturer of bubble baths, soaps and shower gels. Their products have blends of natural herbs and minerals. I am a big fan of Radox products finding them to be of high quality yet reasonably priced. The bubble bath I am reviewing today is the Radox Muscle Soak. The Bottle It's a clear plastic bottle which has a curved contour at the bottom making it fit comfortably in your hand when you pour it. There is a screw top cap ...
...As with most of the Radox bubble baths it is good value for money and a good quality product. My advice though is to keep a look out for when its on special offer and get a bargain. So if you have aching muscles or just want to lie back and relax then this is the bubble bath for you. AJ26 2006 ...

Relax.. and fall asleep

Advantages: Smells great and nice foam
Disadvantages: Smell goes really quickly

...the reasons I chose this Radox product was because it said it would "relax aching muscles and unwind tired minds". I don't know if claims is an appropriate title as it doesn't just claim but is "proven to relax" through the use of a "secret blend of herbs and minerals". The only herb named is clary sage ( which I've never heard of before ). It's probably aimed at people with a hectic or active life, whcih isn't really me as I try to avoid anything ...
...many other varieties of bubble bath Radox make. It's fairly good value for money at around £2 for 500ml which works out at only 14p per bath. Radox product are avaliable nearly everywhere but if you look around you're likely to find some sort of special offer. Thumbs up. :) ...

Chill Out Time

Advantages: Great smell, loads of bubbles, good value for money
Disadvantages: Only one smell available

...use in the bath is Radox Herbal Bath Muscle Soak. Packaging The Radox Herbal Bath Muscle Soak comes in a 500ml clear, plastic bottle. The word Radox is embossed on the lid of the bottle. The liquid inside is thick and blue in colour. There is a label on the front of the bottle which has Radox Muscle Soak written on it. There is also a label on the back of the bottle which includes all the usual information such as ingredients etc. Price I normally ...
...£2 for two bottles. Radox Muscle Soak The actual liquid inside is of a fairly thick consistency and similar to the consistency of bubble bath and pours easily from the bottle although not so fast that you end up putting too much in. The liquid is a blue colour although is actually clear when you add it to the water. Using This Product The moment you add this product to warm running water, you get a good amount of bubbles in the bath. The first ...

BATH WITH A FRIEND

Advantages: relieves tension and stress, relaxes you, great value and is tried, tested and trusted
Disadvantages: none

...quite an orgasmic experience, but Radox most definitely stimulated the senses and adds a certain something to a bathtime experience. That close friend I was referring to, of course, was a humble 500ml bottle of RADOX HERBAL BATH. Whether you use the ‘muscle soak’ variety or one of the aromatherapy ‘flavours’ you can be assured of a relaxing unwinding bathtime. I was reminded of just how good this product is just a few days ago. I’d been feeling ...
...picked up a bottle of Radox at my local Tesco (£1.25 for the 500ml bottle although many stores will have ‘Buy one get one free offers’ at various times) and headed for the sanctuary of home. I had begun to ache, possibly from being up and down a soccer touchline taking photographs (and on that particular day covering Rugby and Hockey as well). I was well and truly knackered, but also my mind was still very active – too active to physically relax. ...

Massage those Muscles!!

Advantages: Great Bubbles, Great Smell
Disadvantages: Not sure it really does anything for my muscles!!!

...***Presentation / Packaging *** Radox Herbal Bath comes in a nice retangular bottle which is made from a clear / plastic, which gives the great benefits that you can recycle it afterards, and also see how much is left! The bubble bath itself is a nice sea blue colour! ***Muscle Soak *** This particular radox is called muscle soak, designed to soothe aching muscles using the special blend of aromotherapy herbs and clary sage. ***Clary Sage *** ...

This essential oil is described as refreshing and euphoric. In a more pure form, it should not be used with alcohol or if you are pregnant, but for the amount in radox, this isn't a problem. ***Smell *** The smell of this particular radox, I actually find quite masculine, and more similar to a mans shower ...

When you ache in bits you didn't know you'd got

Advantages: Relaxing, soothes away the aches and pains
Disadvantages: None

I do love my Radox bath especially when I have been out working in the garden or, more recently, doing my new job that makes me feel like I have had a workout! I usually have a selection of different varieties available in the house, but the best one to use after exercise is the Muscle Soak with Eucalyptus. I light the candles in the bathroom, fill the bath with water as hot as I can stand it together with a liberal dose of the Radox Herbal Bath ...
...the subject in hand. Radox is made by a firm called Sara Lee, a part of H & BC UK Ltd. I must admit I was surprised to read that on the back of the bottle, I would have guessed that it was made by one of the big companies like Proctor and Gamble. Oh well, you live and learn don’t you. There are many different varieties of Radox Herbal Baths, each advertised for use to achieve different results. All of them are designed to ‘relax tired ...

Bubbles sinks into sea of Bubbles at Radox

Advantages: It sends you to sleep it is that relaxing
Disadvantages: none

...and scanned the shelves for Radox Muscle Soak Herbal Bath. It is £1.99 here but there always seems to be offers on this product, 2 for £3 at supermarkets, but the old bones just could not make it to Tesco. The bottle is a oblong transparent and has a sticker on the front showing a picture of sea water rushing over the stones of the sea. It states on the front that it is Radox Muscle Soak, Herbal Bath and it has Clary Sage in it which is renowned ...
...sides of the bottle is Radox in transparent plastic which is 3d. The Herbal Bath is a gorgeous turquoise blue and it takes you back to the lush colours of the sea, (not Blackpool). Already just looking at this product at the shop just makes me want to jump in a bath now with it. Home is only 5 mins away and I just cannot wait. I just about made it upstairs and started to run the bath and unplugged and twisted the lid and the smell is so fragrant ...

The perfect relaxation

Advantages: it really works
Disadvantages: none

Radox Herbal Bath has been in our bathroom ever since it was invented. We usually buy them when the local chemist does a "buy one get one free", where you can pick two of them up for £1.99. The Muscle Soak is the most effective one of the range, although the rest is very good as well. The Muscle Soak contains eucalyptus, which makes the body feel fresh and invigorates the body after a hard day at work. Radox also claims that the Muscle Soak contains ...
...what they have put in it, but it is just the best thing you can possibly put in your bath. You don't need to use much, just pour a bit under the running tap and the relaxing can begin. It even gives a nice foam and it doesn't irritate the skin at all. The smell is very usual really, but for that price there is no alternative. It comes in two sizes, a 500ml bottle and a 1l bottle. The 500ml bottle usually cost £1.99 or £1.89, but like I said, some ...

New Year's Eve Muscle Soak prior to the dancing!!

Advantages: Smells great, lots of bubbles.
Disadvantages: None spring to mind!

...on writing a review about Radox at 6pm on N.Y's Eve when most of my friends are on their way out but I have my reasons (I have to pace myself in order to see the New Year in!!). Anyway my pampering started at 5.30pm, running a lovely hot steamy bath and indulging myself with half an hour of 'quiet' time. I poured 'oodles' of the radox (my hand always accidentally on purpose slips!) under the hot water and within seconds the bubbles were created, ...
...the bottle has the familiar Radox symbol, with Muscle Soak, Herbal Bath with Clary Sage. New Formula, New Bubbles and boy are those bubbles huge! Another plus point is that the bubbles don't instantly disappear once soap is introduced in to the water which I have found to be a major problem with other cheaper brands. Clary Sage is apparantly renowned for its soothing effect on aching muscles, helping you to relax after strenuous activity. For me ...

Do you suffer from stiffness

Advantages: Soothes aching muscles and joints
Disadvantages: The smell can be a bit overpowering but it is pleasant

I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis so get a lot of pain in my joints and this product can be a real godsend on bad days. It really does help with general aches and pains, just lie back and relax and breathe in that heavenly scent and you too will feel better. The actual bubble bath is very economical because you don’t need to use very much to get a bath full of bubbles. I have always been a fan of Radox, I never use anything else and this one ...
