Advantages: Nice LED lights Disadvantages: Unreliable, corrupts all data suddenly and stops working for no reason
This was the first IcyBox hard drive case I bought for my brand new hard drive about five years ago. It has worked for about two years then it damaged all my data, folder, pictures, documents and everything else that was important on my hard drive. Then the box decided to go on strike and not work altogether. I had to format my hard drive losing everything on it and I felt pretty angry. But I thought technology / computer stuff can sometimes be unreliable, ... ...years ago I saw the newer version of IcyBox that looked so sleek and nice with the blue LED, so decided to give it another try and put my hard drive in as you would do. Then it worked fine. BUT about another two years later it disappointed me once more.
