Advantages Advantages Gorgeous graphics, intuitive opponents

Disadvantages Disadvantages Single player game a little on the short side

I know it's odd, but the original Rainbow Six Vegas game did absolutely nothing for me; not that it was a bad game by any stretch of the imagination, there just seemed to be other games I wanted to play more at the time it was released, and thus it passed me by. To that end I'm not overly sure why I found myself loading the sequel into my Xbox 360's drive, but I am mightily glad I did. Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 is a sharp, intelligent and addictive game which I had trouble tearing myself away from once I started playing. So what's the game all about then? In a nutshell you run around ... more

Advantages Advantages Missions, Character Customization, sceneries, XP points, Rankings, achievements!!!

Disadvantages Disadvantages None I can think off!

Platform: Xbox 360 Media: Video Game Rating: 16+ Price: Varied Vegas 2: Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is a first person shooter game...you need to lead a team of three merceneries through the city of Vegas to take out terrorist's and save hostages. I am still hooked on this one...I love the concept, levels, terrorist missions, characters, enemies, challenges, rankings, experience points, achievements and everything else in it. I love the layout of every level and terrist hunt mission, I would still choose Rainbow Six Vegas 2 over any other first person shooter. I gives me the joy and excited trying to ... more

Advantages Advantages Great plot, location and graphics. Simple gameplay, point and shoot.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None.

I couldn't wait for Rainbow six Vegas 2 to arrive when it was released on the 21st March. I had pre-ordered the limited edition steel book version from play.com at the price of £39.99. The steel book case is very well presented and worth the price, most games are £39.99 anyway so I was on to a winner getting the limited edition version. After taking off the wrapper, the case had a cardboard sleeve around it, after slipping it off revealing the metal case I was really pleased with how good the steel case looked. On opening the case I was surprised again, what I didn't know was that the limited ... more

Advantages Advantages Great graphics, storyline and sound effects

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not that much different to the first in he series

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is actually a really good game! The graphics are some of the best I have ever seen, and the controls are really easy to use. The storyline is very realistic and runs on from Rainbow Six Vegas very smoothly. I was really impressed with all the functions there are, and the amount of flexibility there is in the way which you do the missions. The only one fault is its similarity to the first game, Rainbow Six Vegas. The two are barely indistinguishable from each other, apart from the chronology of the story line. Other than that, it is an absolutley great game. The graphics are ... more

Advantages Advantages Brillaint game play, extremely realistic, good graphics, well thought out story line.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 was the first game that i purchased for Xbox 360. Now i have to say, I am not one for first person shooters, but when were talking about this game i have a whole different view point. I was expecting an extremely dissapointing experience but it was quite the opposite. The graphics of this game are some of the best I have ever seen on a games console and it is an extremely realistic game unlike other first person shooters such as Halo 3. This game is one of the best i have ever played online which meant I was completely addicted. It has a well laid out story line which is ... more

Advantages Advantages Easy to play, great level of detail, great multiplayer options

Disadvantages Disadvantages Possibly a bit on the short side!

After completing Ghost Recon 2, I was searching for my next fix of tactical shooter games! Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 was perfect, after an easy tutorial-style first level I was used to the controls and ready to spray some holes in terrorists! The single player options are great, much like Ghost Recon, you are part of a team and command two other agents to help complete the various stages of the game. There are 3 difficulty settings so whether you're a complete novice or an expert you will still enjoy this game. The multiplayer options are fantastic, you can enter a massive multiplayer death match ... more

Advantages Advantages Nice levelling system, Nice combat system

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Prepare to DIE!

The flash-bomb goes in, it goes off in a blinding flash...I burst in and bring the perp down in a hail of hot, fiery justice! Then from no-where...the three guys who magically appeared behind me find it necessary to blow the back of my head off. ******* Really, that sums up Rainbow Six Vegas 2...it doesn't matter how good you are at counter-terrorism simulators...you will die, alot. The AI in this game, despite being on the lowest difficulty, is far superior to you. At some times I felt I wasn't fighting a well armed terrorist organization made up of fanatic Mexicans, it felt I was fighting a ... more

Advantages Advantages Good gameplay, addictive, makes you think

Disadvantages Disadvantages Runs a little slow when lots is happening

Tom Clancy games on the X-Box have always been one of the best for gameplay in my opinion, most notably the Splinter Cell games. I have actually only played a demo of all the older Rainbox Six games but bought a copy of Vegas 2, which came strongly recomended from a friend, second-hand when I bought the X-Box 360 console for my son for Christmas. The main factor I like about Vegas 2 is that it's not all just pure straight action and shooting everything in sight. You actually have to be quite stealthy, think about things and work out a strategy for the various scenarios throughout the game ... more

Advantages Advantages Good Online Play, Good Storyline

Disadvantages Disadvantages Some Graphics and Glitches let it down

I was a big fan of the first Rainbow Six Vegas, and couldn't wait for this new game of the sequel to be released. However, even though it is a good game overall, it didn't really live up to my expectations. This is probably down to playing better online FPS like COD4, and compared it isn't as good. You have the ability to create your own characters clothing and looks with the ability to unlock new clothing etc as you gain rank, which is a nice touch. Don't get me wrong, the game play is good. There is the nice element of seeing round corners perk, which helps players lie in wait for the enemy ... more
