The bottle of Ralph Lauren Romance caught my eye on the shelf because it looked so elegant. The bottle is actually quite plain compared to many elaborate perfume bottles but is its simplicity which makes it so striking.
It is rectangular with the long side at the bottom, with a circular neck to the bottle and a small silver top. Around the neck of the bottle is a silver label reading ‘Ralph Lauren Romance’ The bottle is made purely of glass ... ...In the interest of Ciao, I endeavoured to find out a little more about the fragrance so when I went onto the shop floor early one morning, I went straight to the fragrance counter and asked a colleague of mine about it.
I also noticed the box but only briefly so I’ll try to remember as much about it as possible. The box is predominantly pink with a shiny silver trim. It is hard to describe because however I put it, it sounds tacky! But trust me ...

...I'd had my eye on Ralph Lauren Romance for some time and decided to treat myself on the way home from holiday in June.
The box stands out as it is a pink (loving all things pink, this is probably why it stood out to me!) simple rectangular shaped box with a silver lid and bottom. It quite simply states on the front that it is 'Ralph Lauren Romance.'
The bottle is as simple and effective (in my opinion) as its box. It, again, is a rectangular clear ... ...taken off and replaced again. The perfume itself is a clear liquid and looks just like water.
Now as I said I bought this Duty Free priced at £40 approx for 50ml. I swithered about buying the bigger 100ml bottle which was £50 but decided that would be too extravagant! I would say that this is the only disadvantage of the perfume: it is rather pricey!

It was a gift, of course it would be, how can I justify spending 40 pounds on perfume when the ole overdraft barely allows 20? Anyway, I am sure glad I have relatives who don’t have overdrafts because this gift was worth every penny.
Men, take note. Women like to smell nice so that her fantasy since she was a teenager of walking into a room and have men stop talking to watch her glide past and say ‘what is that frangrance-I have to talk ... ...feel threatened because chances are he is not going to be tall, dark and handsome wearing a tuxedo; unless she is the latest Bond girl. Regardless, she wants to get close to that feeling, and Romance will do that for you.
It is a lovely flowery scent that is light enough to prevent sneezing fits, but present enough to make a girl smell utterly feminine even if she is in jeans and a t-shirt.
Like I mentioned before, it is quite pricey. 39 pounds ...

...crisp, clean floral smell (very Ralph Lauren) with something more musky and sensual. This is definitely a perfume for a woman in love as there is something dreamy about it that is also sophisticated (doesn't have that cutesy kitsch floral smell of some perfumes). I had been wanting to buy this prefume for years after smelling it a million times in magazines. I finally splashed out on it last year and have never regretted it. I love it even more now. Although it is not my favourite perfume, it is certainly one of my favourites. It has a very subtle fragrance which is mainly patchouli and ylang ylang, my two favourite floral scents. It often smells different on each person, so it can be as individual as you ... ...always nice when someone asks you which perfume you are wearing and this happens a lot with Romance.
The bottle is a very simple one, which highlighs the subtilty of the fragrance. I am a big fan of fancy perfume bottles but I still love this one. I'm not sure what occasion you would wear this one for. It is not too evening, but not exactly daytime either. I tend to wear it just about everyday.

I was actually lucky enough to be able to buy my first bottle of this in France, where it was a fair bit cheaper than I'd have paid over here. I got my first whiff on one of those long card tester things that sephora and other places offer you and I was hooked straight away.
It literally is romance in a bottle; it's warm and sexy and you can literally smell it all day and all night too. It's the perfume I was wearing when I met my man and it's the ... ...how sexy we found each other when we first met, and it does the trick!
Initially, it makes you feel all feminie and attractive before you've even got it out of the box, which with its pink colour and silver trim, make you feel special because you have such a nice looking accessory. (Maybe I'm romanticising but it's how it makes me feel)

...I was recommended Ralph Lauren-Romance by my friend and since I have bought two bottles, it costs around £39 which is quite a lot, but well worth paying for. It comes in various sizes the bottle I have is 50ml which is just the right size.
It’ one of the perfume that you only need a couple of squirt and it’s not enough to keep you smelling nice all day long. You can buy it from all perfume shops and I recommend that you treat yourself with this ...

A very fresh fragrance that's unlike most perfumes. Its by Davidoff and is pretty universal to use at most times. Is ideal for casual days but nice enough to wear in the evenings if you feel like a change from the usual strong smelling evening smells.
The fresh fragrance might not suit those of you that like your strong fragrances so Obsession fans, be warned, this is not for you.

Romance is in the air, when you put on this excellent but expensive perfume. It is quite strong and only a couple of squirts is needed for the perfect result.
Worn in the evenings or for special occasions, it adds that touch of perfection. Light, refreshing, and sweet it will keep you smelling nice all nice. It really will do you proud. Although, it's expensive at £37 a bottle, even though it's a small bottle it lasts for over 3 months, which is ... ...you wear it to work, because it's to special for that. The packaging is average, the perfume and the scent sells itself. A perfect gift to give to a loved one I know if I was to receive it I would love it and it's a good name, if you want to give it to a fashion wary daughter. Close your eyes…… think of soft, white sand beaches, or a delicate, tropical waterfall, or a cool forest sprinkled with bluebells…. I am, by no means, a perfum-ey sort of person (if there is such a thing) but, I have never smelt anything quite like this. In all honesty, I think it smells like anything you want it to smell like, ….it just has that good smell about it. Ralph Lauren Romance just has to be the best purfume i've ever smelt and worn. I got given it as a present for my 17th birthday and i just love it. I can't go out the house without having some on . ...a sample free from the ralph lauren counter in a department store. I now have the Perfume and the body lotion. The fragrance is a rosy sweet smell and is good for any occasion. The lotion leaves my skin soft and of course smells nice. The bottle design is very minimalistic basically clear glass with the romance logo but they come in pretty pink boxes which always look good on the dresser. I would reccomend anyone to persuade their boyfriend/partner ...

Ralph Lauren is one of the better designer fragerances on the market at the moment. Even though it is a bit pricey, it is definatly worth a try.i found out about it when i was at a party, and i could smell it on my friend as she walked past me, and i asked them what it, was, they told me it was ralph lauren, and when i had enough money saved, i bought it for myself!
It has a light fruity refreshing smell. it is quite a strong perfume, but when applied ... ...a fruity smell which lingers on you for the whole night, so there is no need to re-apply.
The bottle and light packaging are simple but attractive. The bottle is a good size, and provides a lot of perfume, which lasts a long time, as a lot does not need to be applied. I bought my bottle of the perfume over 6 months ago, and i still have over half the bottle left, so it is definatly worth the money! i would recommend this product, and to those of ...
