Where i work we have got several of these wonderful pieces of kit!!
Picture doesn't do it justice its actually a massive vice.
Best used in a permanent position not ideal if you want to carry it around with you weighs alot.
Great gripping power, I have held a 210kg stainless steel 8inch shaft in one of these no problem it did take three of us to clamp it in position though.
AS you can see there are 2 slots to bolt it to a workbench for example ... ...or larger versions around so be sure to check spec before buying.
The main gripping jaws are transferable whick easily screw on or off from front, you can get smooth surface jaws if you dont want to mark or scratch the job and teeth jaws for a better grip, also available are soft rubber attachments for the jaws which slide on for delicate surfaces.
This Vice is perfect for metal, wood, plastic, nylon, rubber virtually anything.
