‘They’ being the band who have in the last year totally touched my life and become my favourite group in the universe, you might say I’m slightly biased – not to mention somewhat bewildered with awe. This was the very first time I have seen the Red Hot Chili Peppers live, and I had to go to some extraordinary lengths to do it, and it was so worth all of them. *WHERE DID I GO?* I went to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers, ‘By The Way’ tour at Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh on Sunday 13th June 2004. I bought the tickets from my usual trusty place, ticketmaster.co.uk and they cost roughly £40 each including booking fees. In the centre of London there are 340 acres of green space. A park planted with many trees and flowers. The serpentine flows through it. In Hyde Park you can row your boat, or roller blade you can eat at a restaurant, pick up a hot dog from a stand or take a picnic. You could ride a horse or just watch the wildlife ,the birds and butterflies .It is a place for Londoner’s and visitors to chill. We did, well we saw the Red hot Chilli’s on Friday 25th June. The Chillis peppers have to one of the biggest bands in the world at the moment and one of my favourites so as soon as I heard they'd be playing a series of UK gigs and and one of them at Murrayfield I was amazingly excited unfortunately a slightly hungover lie in on the day the tickets went on sale meant we were stuck right at the back and when I say the back I mean high enough up to get a touch of vertigo. the red hot chili pepper gig was held on the 23rd June in cardiff millenium stadium, this was a supereb gig but had its faults, the band Chicks On Speed wasnt the best of all support bands , with abuse being thrown at them in in hydepark they played at a cardiff and recieved the same, this band was not good at all with a song called ' we dont play guitar ' and which had some over sized women running around with an air guitar many people werent happy with thier 45min set . the legend of which is james brown played there giving his all and gave the people what they wanted to see, a great show ... more
