...posh do i headed to regis to try them out as i wanted a strong look. booked for 11am went in 15mins early and told to clear off as they were having training. returned at 11.05 training still ongoing for 2 staff. was seated with hot drink thankfully to wait another 10 minutes. the senior hairdresser then did a 2 min consultation then wash and cut . she did ask her colleague for some product information which i had to buy in order for her to try it ...

my neighbour always used to do my hair for a fiver but since coming to university i have been shopping around for offers and after spotting a poster in the widown of regis, £15 cut for first time customers- i decided to give it a go and do something a bit different. I had my hair cut from just longer than shoulder length, to chin length, by Linda on corporation street, birmingham and i must say it was very well done. it was blow dryed and straightened to perfection and not overloaded with styling products (normally it would need washing almost immediately). I've been to regis three times. I wasn't very happy the first time, but I went back thinking my first experience was probably a one-off, since regis is so well-established. Well it wasn't even third time lucky in my case! The stylists failed to understand what I wanted done to my hair on each visit. As soon as the stylist hears the word 'layers' they start cutting to that typical layered look. Never asking about the length of the layers etc. Consultation ...
...the disappointing haircuts. The third time I went, I did not ask for a cut, just a blowdry, I asked for it to be very straight. To my horror, my hair was washed, blast dried into a magpie's nest and then straightened with old rusting non-ceramic straightners. Result: not the desired effect. Absolute waste of time and money. The stylist was more interested in talking to her friend and planning her evening out than what she was doing. After shampooing and conditioning she cut my hair without sectioning, gave a very quick, rough blow dry and a spritz of spray. This took 40 mins and cost £40.00!!
