...a great little gadget The Remington Fuzz-Away is, I remember the first one I got as a pressie about 15 years ago, I'm now on my third one due to the fact that the first one I owned was stepped on and the second was borrowed and I did'nt get it back! This little battery operated gadget is used for shaving off those unsightly bobbles that appear on your clothes, I've used it with very good results on socks, jumpers, tops, trousers and jogging bottoms, ...
...and bedding ect and isn't just limited to clothing. The Fuzz-away is simply a low voltage battery operated fabric shaver which is small and lightweight and fits nicely in the hand. This is the whirry little thing that you can shave your clothes with. It removes the "Bobbles" that appear inexplicably when your jumpers get old. In short - It works. Not the most extensive opinion I grant you, so I'll expand.... Basically its a battery operated rotating blade that spins behind a mesh screen, not unlike an old electric razor, and anything that pokes through the mesh is cut off, leaving a smooth efect on previously bobbly material. ...
...not chainmail. The bigger the weave or knit, the bigger the bobble and the less likely it will fit through the mesh. If you havn't seen one, its hand held, looks a bit like a chunky electric razor too and it cost me about £6 a few years ago. Its black vinyl effect and doubles as a phaser if you are playing Star Trek with your children. Its dead simple to clean out, just slide off a hatch thing and pour out the bobbles, if you keep the old bobbles ...

I actually have 2 of these. The first I bought was a Remmington but when we moved house I misplaced it. I definitely had to have one but was unable to find another Remmington and bought a different make from Innovations. Needless to say I found my old one soon afterwards. This is a very useful little gadget for shaving the bobbles that develop on items of clothing such as; socks, T-Shirts, jerseys and tracksuits. It has saved me from throwing away ...
...giving them a shave they were almost as good as new. I use it when I am doing the ironing. It’s quite fun shaving the bobbles off and I do sometimes get carried away. A little light entertainment in the sheer drudgery of housework. By one, I definitely find it difficult to do without it. Unfortunatley I cannot remember how much the Remmington was but the other make from innovations is about £5.99. See if you can source one elsewhere as innovations ...

This little appliance should be in everyones top drawer. I found out about this tool some years ago, when i was just about to bin yet another jumper, for looking too shabby and bobbly....Stop my friend cried, try this...and whats that going to do i asked ?...well was i surprised.. I own one of these. Ibought one because they were being sold half price in a sale but I was doubtful as to whether it would work or not. However, it did the job perfectly and I wouldn't be without it now. It works on one 1.5volt battery which lasts for ages, in fact I don't think I've changed the battery in mine in about three years. You know those annoying "bobbly bits" that appear on woollen jumpers after you've worn them only two or three ...
...like a razor and all you have to do is switch it on and run it gently over the surface of the fabric. It does not harm the material at all and you end up with a jumper that looks like new. I would definitely recommend buying one of these to keep your jumpers looking like new. You might be luckylike Iwas and find one in the sales, although they don't cost much to buy at full price! ...
