I thought that hair straightening was just somehthing that people with very curly hair did until my friend offered to do mine and i loved it. She had the very expensive GHD variety and very very curly hair so at the time i went for some very cheap £40 straighteners and was dissapointed with the results. I've always envied people with super straight hair as mine was always fuzzy/slightly wavy and I've got the sort of hair that just won't style very well as it always reverts back to its natural messy state except now with the help of my new straightners! I purchased these a few years ago, priced then at £79.99, a resonable price. The temperature setting is clear and easy to use(dial). When usuing these first it was quite frightened as I began drying and straightning my hair at the same time, as steam was ejecting from the top of the straightners and I was hearing a sizzling noise. I can't remember how long I've had these straighteners its been so long, and I've never looked back. They've only just started to lose there temperature, but can still get extremely hot. ...have to have GHD, the remington ceramic is just as good (which is what I have!). If you are a fan of the very sleek, smooth effect then I wouldn't recommend the Wet2Straight. They havn't broken, and look almost as good as new, even though I have used them about twice a week, most weeks. They still heat up really quickly, and even though I have quite curly hair, they leave it dead straight, and it can stay like that for 2 or 3 days, if it doesn't get wet or damp. i brought these straightners last year and took them back to the shop after a week. I really dont reccommend these straightners to anyone especially if you have thick or wavy/curly hair. In my personal experiance they left my hair really frizzy and it felt really course. It also took ages to use them. Also when you use these you need to hold your hand as far away from the steam holes at the top, i was always burning my hands on the amount of steam ...
