    Advantages Advantages Space, versatility, excellent dCi engine, comfort, equipment

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Trim rattles, expensive on used market as a good spec diesel.

    We've had "The Spaceship" as it has been affectionately christened, for 5 months now, and have covered 6,500 miles in it. Overall, we are very happy with it. We looked at many midi-MPVs such as the C-MAX and Touran, and what disappointed us most was the boot space on offer. The Grand Scenic seemed to be one of the few which offers decent load carrying capabilty and plenty of cabin space, without having to migrate to a full blown MPV such as an Espace or Galaxy.     I have been the owner of a Renault Grand Scenic Dynamique 1.9dCi, for 6 weeks now & I love it. This car is great for my family & it's a real workhorse ! The best things about this car are practicality & economy. I can seat 7 people, 4 adults & 3 children & still get 45 mpg. The handling & performance are great, comfort is exceptional with good, well adjustable seats & steering wheel. It comes with an auto handbrake but this is a nightmare & even after 6 weeks, I am looking for a "real" handbrake ! The deal is you only ever put it on as when you pull away it clicks off but 25 years of driving ... more

    Great car for all the family as its roomy with good features and really easy to work on for the basics. Doesn't look like a brick like some MPVs. Dealer experience has varied but now out of waranty take to local garage who do a great job if it needs more than a minor tinker. 2nd renault i have owned and paint work better than old scenic. Had as an ex dealer demo and more than happy. Probably wo't buy anothe scenic as family growing up and will get something smaller next time. Minus side has dent on one side from ... more
