    Advantages Advantages Classic game

Disadvantages Disadvantages No real changes made to the original

When it arrived, Resident Evil grabbed us all by the throats like the ravenous zombies it depicted, and shoved a brand new genre down our mouths. Survival Horror - where the player stands alone against a horde of evil, and has nothing but his wits and a minimal supply of weaponry to keep himself alive. It was a smash hit, nothing short of unique brilliance, and although Capcom bled the franchise dry with a horde of sequels (some of them as dead as their monsters they contained), they dusted it off and turned it three-sixty with Resident Evil 4, which dumped the awkward controls and angles of ... more

This is a review on the remake version of Resident Evil 2. Resident Evil 2 is on many consoles, like the PC, Sega Saturn, and also the Dreamcast. But now it has been transferred onto the Gamecube. The game has been remade in some ways, for it to be on the Gamecube, the only disappointment is the graphics, which they never touched. Advantages Advantages Good game, good playability

Disadvantages Disadvantages Graphics could have been better

When the one and only RE for the N64, RE2, was released, I decided to check it out. At first, I abandoned the game for 2 reasons; first, I couldn’t figure out what to do, and at the time I never liked to use guides for games...big mistake. And second was the controls and camera angles. Most can relate. The trademark controls and camera angles have always been frowned at. After boring myself to death with all my other N64 games, I decided to give it one last ... more

Advantages Advantages One of the best games in series

    Disadvantages Disadvantages No graphical update

First off, it should be noted this game is an almost completely ported remake of the Playstation version of the game. The sound and graphics are identical. Controlling Leon or Claire, you run around Raccoon City, trying to solve the mysterious chain of events. The many enemies, fluent controls and expansive weapon selection, are this games best points. Meeting many NPC's, most killed off my the monstrous hoard of the undead, the player aims to simply escape. Depending upon the scenario played, you may be chased by an unusual tyrant, simply called 'Mr X', face the monstrous creature and ... more
