"Oh Mister kennedy You entertain me!"
Review of Resident Evil 4 (Wii) by daftks

Advantages: Brilliant gameplay, lots of suspense
Disadvantages: Same as RE4 releases on Gamecube/PS2

...a big scaredy cat of Resident Evil from Day 1 when we first bought Resident Evil Nemesis for Playstation One. From that day on, I only watch my sister play. But still, being in the audience is just as exciting and gets you to the edge of your seat as you're playing it! Essentially, Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition is a port of the two-year project from Gamecube and Playstation 2, with a slight enhancement. This Resident Evil stars Leon S. Kennedy, on ... Read review

Leon!! Heelllllpp!!
Review of Resident Evil 4 (Wii) by LegalEagle247

Advantages: Action packed, revolutionary gameplay, varying difficulties, great graphics & sound.
Disadvantages: Some puzzles are too easy, annoying voice of the president's daughter.

...a revolutionary addition to the Resident Evil series in that it did away with the 'fixed camera angles' as well as a lot of the original control system. Many players believed this would prove unsuccessful. They were very wrong. Players take the role of Leon S Kennedy (also the protagonist of RE2), a government agent hired to rescue the president's daughter from the clutches of a mysterious religious cult in a European village. Resident evil ... Read review

Good, stupid fun.
Review of Resident Evil 4 (Wii) by ShadowCreator

Advantages: Fun, good time waster, enjoyable for one or two runs perhaps.
Disadvantages: Very unrealistic, story doesn't add up, controls are clumsy.

The game resident evil 4 may be a lot of fun to someone who has played horror games before, but even then, it's too unrealistic and clumsy to function as a game that is truly interesting and occupying. That is not to say that it is not fun, though. Obviously, games like this cannot be realistic, but there is a line between unrealistic and so excessively unrealistic that it completely distracts from the game itself. Maybe most people don't care (which ... Read review

Resident Evil - Definative edition
Review of Resident Evil 4 (Wii) by BadDay

Advantages: Great game, updated with perfect controls
Disadvantages: No Wii exclusive stuff!!

...been a huge fan of Resident Evil 4 on the PS2 prior to me trading it in to go towards my Wii, I had been about to buy the Gamecube version when this title was announced. The game involves Leon S. Kennedy (of Resi Evil 2 fame) now a fully paid up government employee, on the trail of the US Presidents daughter who had been kidnapped and taken to a small village in Europe (exact location never really specified but they speak some variation on Spanish) ... Fantasic adventure game
Review of Resident Evil 4 (Wii) by SuperCharlie

Advantages: Gamplay, style, atmosphere
Disadvantages: None, really!

This is definitely the best of the games that I own for my Wii. (Others include Wii Sports, Rayman Raving Rabbids, FIFA 08, Wario Ware Smooth Moves, Brain Training). This adventure game is set in an enormous world, meant to be somewhere in Spain (I think), that is built in beautiful and terrifying detail. You play the part of Leon, a super-policeman of some sort, charge with the protection of the President's daughter. Inconveniently, she's been ... Read review

Resident Evil 4- best survival horror to date!
Review of Resident Evil 4 (Wii) by kat74_uk

Advantages: All- if u want a grown up-ish game for the wii- buy this!
Disadvantages: NONE!

...am a big fan of resident evil too. I own them all- actually I have an extensive survival horror game collection- some of which are unavailable to buy in the UK and so are rare. I have to say that I also own resident evil on the ps2 (limited edition version), gamecube (first one I played it through on) and on the wii- and the wii's unique version is by far the best- I will explain why… Due to the controllers for the wii, the Wii-mote and nuchuck- ... Zombie nation
Review of Resident Evil 4 (Wii) by zakkman

Advantages: great storyline,gameplay,controls,
Disadvantages: none

When i bought this game i really didnt know what to expect. I knew it was a first person shooter based game but that was it. As soon as the evil voice comes over when the game loads you know you are going to be in for lots of gore and frights. Control are very easy to grasp right from the beginning. Aiming is done by pointing the wii remote as is knife slashing if your ammo runs out. The game starts off with you in a truck being taken to a village. ... Read review

Got some rare things on sale stranger!
Review of Resident Evil 4 (Wii) by speedy2710

Advantages: Brilliant Gameplay, Good Graphics, Longer Lifespan than you have
Disadvantages: Unbelievably annoying voice of the Presidents daughter

I bow down to the people who made this game. Pure brilliance. Ive never liked the RE series, but RE4 is so different to the others that I rate as one of the best games ever. The main difference from other RE titles is the camera angle. In previous games, it was the nasty full room view, which also impaired shooting, being able to only shoot up, down or straight ahead. In RE4 however, it's changed to an over the shoulder view which switches to 1st ... Read review

Quick review of Resident Evil 4 (Wii)
Review of Resident Evil 4 (Wii) by marcv6

now this is a game thats going to keep you on the edge of your seat all the way through. having just bought a wii this was one of my first buys and i just couldn't stop playing it, it got to the stage where i was up until 3am. the graphics are great and the story line is fantastic you fight your way through villages of non-zombies to rescue the presidents daughter and then get her to safety. ammo is limited all the way through so you need to shoot wisely. probably the best game of this year so far

Not your normal resident evil but very enjoyable
Review of Resident Evil 4 (Wii) by chris.huskins

Advantages: Makes full use of the Wii controls, great fun
Disadvantages: Puzzles are much more simple than the older versions.

The Wii version of Resident Evil is not your normal Resident Evil game. It is far more simple in terms of mysteries and puzzles. It is much more like a light gun game with the movement in the nunchuck control. It is however a very enjoyable game to play. The sound keeps tension flowing and parts of the game make it difficult the first time around. The thing that makes it easier is that you can save the game however many times you like, unlike previous ... Read review

Greateat game ever
Review of Resident Evil 4 (Wii) by mcleism01

Advantages: Graphics, Gameplay, Sound, Imagination, Boss Battles
Disadvantages: It surely can't get any better

Resident evil 4, is in my opinion the greatest game on the nintendo wii, in fact it is so great I actually feel honoured to own it. When I first bought it I was thinking OH NO surely this game cannot live up to the greatness of the gamecube version, I was wrong it's got better. It still strikes fear hear into your heart when you hear the cry of "unforastero" coming from around the corner the tense music does nothing to make you feel better. And the ... Read review

An improvement on a old series
Review of Resident Evil 4 (Wii) by sonyduo

Advantages: Good new features, great story line, well used features of the Wii
Disadvantages: Difficult viewing positions, difficult to get the hang of

...just a new story on resident evil 3 with just enough improvements to keep it on top of i\'s game. Worth the money if you like the series and will keep you entertained for quite a while and has some interesting twists and new features like collecting money for weapon improvements. ... Read review

Resident Evil 4 - Wii Amazing
Review of Resident Evil 4 (Wii) by stugers

Advantages: Blows you away
Disadvantages: Controls are hard to get used to

Believe the hype!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Resident Evil 4 Series has never really appealed to me. However, this game has changed my mind. For such a low price you are getting an excellent game. You start off as an American agent (Leon) who's job is to rescue the American President's daughter. However, things are not as they seem as you encounter Zombies and strange events. The game begins to move forward and you feel part of the story - the cut scenes ... Read review

Genocide never felt so good
Review of Resident Evil 4 (Wii) by elbamfordo

Advantages: High action. Large game with plenty to unlock and magnificent levels on smaller tvs
Disadvantages: Have not converted textures so 480p looks a little grainy. Lack of sleep.

Having already played the GameCube version I knew pretty much what to expect. High action, shooting Spaniards in the face feels wrong to start with but translate what they are shouting at you and you feel justified. You can no longer look up Ashley's skirt like on the GameCube. Separate Ways mini game is a welcome addition to the Nintendo version as it fills in some of the blanks in the plot. Unlockables a-go-go once you get a taste for it. The ... Read review
