...that happened to me with Resident Evil. I played the first two games shortly after getting my Playstation about a year and a half ago, sometime after I had a look at some of the Novels. I'm always wary about this kind of tie-in, often they seem hastily put together, but there has been something quite nice about the Resident Evil novels. The plot of Resident Evil in many ways flows like a film, with extended 'action' sequences between the plot revelations. ...in the series of the resident evil a week ago, and I have only just finished reading it. What a brilliant book and very well written. For those who have played the first game in the series, it ties in nicely and bulks out the plot of the game, but for those that havent, the book isnt totally unreadable. My attention for the book was grabbed when I saw the movie at the cinema, and was hooked straight away. I will certainly be reading the other books ...
...are as good. The plot revolves around a city in the USA, which suddenly experiences many murders. Reports come in that the victims are being found eaten. Who knows whether the attacker is human or animal? A huge mansion in the middle of the forest in the city, is earmarked as suspicious. A special tactics team is sent into investigate. Behind the doors of the mansion, is something that the team couldnt even have imagined and is beyond their wildest ...

Resident Evil: The Umbrella Conspiracy is a chilling novelisation of the Resident Evil game. The main story is exactly like the game; the only real difference is that they have more ammunition in the book. What I liked most about the book is the way Perry took on the story as if it was her own. It was not just a book of game, it was a story. And having played the game and read the book, the book is far more terrifying. Perhaps the only disappointing ...
