...problem in the form of Retardex Oral Rinse mouthwash.
Supplied in a 500 ml bottle this mouthwash is quite expensive at around £7.95. However, my friend is a dental nurse and she highly recommended this product. Too be honest I would have tried anything, including boiled monkey vomit if it helped with the stinky business of hubby’s pongy breath. the instructions for retarDEX is use it twice a day immediately after brushing, then fill the outside of the measuring cap with the solution in the bottle, then swish around the mouth 30 seconds and spit it out.
it is recommended that you use the retar DEX toothpaste but i haven't done that as i found that normal toothpaste is good enough, if you do want to buy the toothpaste you can buy it from Boots or Superdrug's again but it costs ... ...you cam also get the retarDEX spray.
Here are some extra bits * It is PH balanced *alcohol free
*sugar and artificial sweetener free
* Clear and unflavoured
*fights plague * And also kills bacteria that cause tooth decay and gum problems.
The bottle contains 250 ml of solution.

Advantages: um! Disadvantages: horrible taste and aftertaste
...latest find is Retardex.
Retardex claims to eliminate bad breath compounds, whiten one's teeth,and fight plaque it is also alcohol and sugar free and does wonderful things to the sulphur compounds that lurk within.So far so good?
Retardex tastes totally disgusting, like nothing iv'e tasted before, they do provide a vial of peppermint oil to add as an option,vile being the operative word!
The taste of Retardex stay's with you for hours and eventually ...

Advantages: IT WORKS!!, Good range of diferent products Disadvantages: Not the Mintyest ever. Shame about the name
I have found Retardex Oral rinse to be an ideal rinse for everyday use and it has has an effective antibacterial formula to fight plaque, which research shows is a cause of gum problems and tooth decay.
Pretty much all of the RearDex products i have used contain CloSYS which is clinically proven to break down VSC's (Volatile Sulphur Compounds) that cause bad breath.
The thing which makes this range the best for me rather than Listerine or Oral ... ...the best place to buy Retardex from....... and its not Boots. You can find the full range online from an extreamly good shop called www.blushingbuyer.co.uk.
At that site you can get the full range at a good price. I have used them in the past and can vouch for their reliability.
I think Retardex works, and so do the dentists. Its not a pretty comercial product but it does the job.

Advantages: Tasteless. No alcohol, No colour, Very Effective,reasonably priced Disadvantages: Can't think of one!
...And after asking one or two family members for their honest opinions, they are all impressed. I would definately recomend this mouthwash, its amazing! Retardex also make toothpaste, and breath spray. I will seriously consider trying these, as the active ingredient is also excellnt for keeping nasty bacteria away. ...
