Advantages: Versatile, a little goes a long way, different shades of lotion Disadvantages: none!
*REVLON SKINLIGHTS FACE ILLUMINATOR*
*INTRODUCTION*
The first time I came across this product was whilst browsing the make-up isles in Boots. I had heard endless compliments about Revlon, and decided to taske a look and see what the shelves had to offer. Although I didn't need anything (yep, I admit it!) this product attracted my attention. After reading the small text on the back, I decided to try a small amount out on my cheek, and loved what ... ...a few colours to choose from, and depending on personal choice and skin colour, there is one to suit every person! To begin with, I bought the 'Peach light' illuminator, but after a few days of using it thought that I could do with something which gave my face a little more colour, so also purchased the 'Golden light' product as I liked the effect this had on my skin even more than the first!..Yes I admit, I'm a real product junkie :p

...golden glowing tan.
Discovering Revlon Skinlights face illuminator was, therefore, a small miracle for me. I first chanced upon this product whilst browsing the cosmetic stall of my local weekly market.
“Arf price lovey, ten quid in Boots that is” the ruddy faced market stall holder shrieked loudly at me.
I hesitated as I thought £5.00 was still quite pricey for a product I had never heard of before especially off a market stall where I am used ... ...an item.
“Me daughter swears by that stuff…..won’t use anyfink else,” the ruddy faced woman, scenting blood, went in for the full on Sales kill as I dithered over whether to pay the price or not.
I held the bright pink tube in my hand and quickly scanned the blurb on the back. It promised to help conceal imperfections by blending seamlessly with your own skin tone to give a luminous, natural look at the same time leaving your skin soft and smooth ...

Advantages: Easy to use, gives a fresh, healthy look Disadvantages: Smells awful
...found my wonder product - Revlon Skinlights Face Illuminator!
This 'illuminating' lotion promises to brighten up skin and give you a luminous, radiant complexion, whether used by itself or under foundation. It even claims to contain a crystal complex and vitamins C and E - I think the Vitamin C is pretty much obsolete as it's a very unstable vitamin, but hey, it sounds good! The lotion also contains SPF15 but you're unlikely to get the benefits ... ...love the just-fallen-face-down-in-a-deep-fat-fryer look!
Revlon Skinlights Face Illuminator (what a mouthful!) comes in a very sturdy plastic tube with a pump dispenser at the bottom. It does look quite expensive, but probably no more so than it actually is! There are loads of different shades, ranging from almost white to brown, but it doesn't matter if there isn't an exact shade match for you because it's very sheer and isn't like a foundation. ...

...glow for under £10: Revlon SkinLights Face Illuminator Lotion.
So what's so great about this highlighter?
Well, it subtley highlights the skin, giving you radiant, glowing skin to die for. It brightens up dull skin in no time. Plus, it contains SPF 15 and vitamin C and E.
Great, so can I use it to replace my facial sunscreen?
I would not recommend it. Although this lotion is light, oil-free, and contains a reasonable SPF, you should remember ... ...your skin tone, or achieve a different look.
So there's my secret- well, not so secret anymore!
If you're looking for healthier, brighter skin use Revlon Skinlights. It will subtley conceal flaws whilst allowing your real skin to show through.
Your real skin, just more beautiful! ...

Advantages: Contains sun protection but that's about it. Disadvantages: Inferior colour and performance, not worth the money
...search that I first tried Revlon Skinlights on for size.
Normally spending over ten pounds on something that's going to run out makes me a little bit anxious, but on this occasion I thought I'd give it a shot and headed to the Revlon stand in my local Boots. Unlike the Maybelline and L'Oreal counters where there are usually a gaggle of teenagers and twenty-somethings hanging around rubbing different coloured products into the backs of their hands ... ...so many other cosmetic companies, Revlon seem to believe that human skin is meant to always be a lighter or darker shade of orange and have made all their foundation hues variants on a strange orange tan. All foundations are based on either pink or orange, but all to often the latter colour is taken on a bit too enthusiastically when pale people like myself tend to suit a pinker variation. Anyway, needless to say it didn't suit me as well as it should ...

Advantages: EVERYTHING! Disadvantages: A little pricey for some.
Want to know the secret of the stars dewy complexions? Then read on!
Revlon’s fairly new product, skinlights face illuminator comes in a fairly thin tube with a huge cap at the bottom in relation to the tube and has a pump action to get the actual product out.
You get 40ml of this little beauty and believe me it’ll last you ages, I’m betting on a 6-12mths worth of use and for the price of between £8.99 and £9.99 (depending where you buy it from) ... ...professional look and yes, the celebs do use it themselves but for the life of me can’t remember who exactly (isn’t that annoying?!).
5-6 shades are available though you may find your local stockist wont have them all, that’s always the way but it isn’t like a foundation so you could get away with a darker/lighter shade than what you would normally go for.
The shades start at natural light, to peach light going to bronze light, which could be used ...

Advantages: glisten like a sunkissed model Disadvantages: expesive, smalls like playdoh
shine like a star and glisten like a sunkissed model with this wonder of a product. I have wanted some of this stuff for absolubtly ages but have always been put off by the price- £8.99 for 40ml- so when christmas came around it was straight on the top of my list! I put in my 'order' to my mum so soon that i had completly forgotten i had asked for it by the time it was christmas day! But when i opened it up i couldnt wait to get it on.
It comes ... ...light and golden bronze. It depends on your skin tone and your preferance as to which one you choose. I have got natural light and it is the lightest one you can get because i have very pale skin. It is rather like a foundation, but much lighter in texture so it is easy to blend in. It is supposes to enhance your skin by reflecting light, which i suppose it does, but a more natural way of saying it would be to say that it makes you shimmer classily! ...

Advantages: Gives a summery feel, evens out skintone and contains SPF 15. Disadvantages: A bit pricey, use pump with caution or too much product will be dispensed.
Don't you just hate looking at all those gorgeous celebrities in glossy magazines, with their perfect complexions and glowing skin? Well, I'll let you into a little secret - they're not perfect at all - they cheat! And with a product like this, you can cheat too!
I first saw thgis product on the No.7 counter at Boots. I've always been a fan of glittery and shimmery makeup so this caught my eye. It claims to brighten you skintone by reflecting light ... ...a bit put off by the price - £8.99 for 40ml, but it had 100 extra Advantage Card points at the time so I thought I'd spoil myself for once, and I have to say I'm glad I did. The product comes with a pump dispenser, which takes ages to come out the first time you use it, and a whole pump is probably too much for the average face (unless you like the beacon look!). I only tend to use it on my cheekbones and eyelids, anywhere else and it can make my ...

...After seeing an ad for Revlon Skinlights on the Tv.I decided to try it.
A 40ml tube costing around £9.99,it aint cheap. But I have had mine for way over a year now,and use it when I cant be bothered to fuss around with make up. It has a light lotion texture to it, and smoothes onto the skin like a dream. It has a very light frresh smell to it.
You can use it alone on your skin, or you can use it over your foundation to highlight your cheekbones. ... ...warm glow. It is lighter than foundation and gives you a lovely fresh complexion.
Containing tiny little quartz crystals it reflects the light back. This is what gives you a nice glow. The lotion also contains spf 15, and needs to be shaken well before use. It is packaged in a white tube with metallic orange writing, and is dispensed via a pump action cap.
It is so light that it wont sink into any lines that you may have, and evens out your complexion. ...

Advantages: illuminates your skin, easy to apply Disadvantages: slightly too liquid
...I've not tried many revlon products previously and it's a brand I knew little about but there weren't many similar products on the market.
This product comes in a hard plastic tube (ignore the picture attached - I'm not sure what that is!!) so it is pretty resiliant. It has a pump like you would find on foundation that distributes the product a little at a time, therefore it is pretty simple to apply. The product is pretty liquid and runny (I'd ... ...blend.
I purchased one of the lighter colours as I have quite pale skin, but there is a good range of shades. I apply this to the cheeks to illuminate my face. It can be applied as a finishing touch to make up, but this does give a slightly greasier look to your face. I've found if I blot a little translucent powder over it, the greasiness is taken off but the illuminating properties still shine through. This is achieved by tiny particles in the ...

Advantages: Makes your face light up. Disadvantages: A little on the expensive side, but good quality
...seen this new product by Revlon advertised in a newspaper magazine, as a lover of Revlon products I thought I would give this product a try, as it is only available for a limited time. I have tried the Pink Light colour which is for fair skin, and the Peach Light colour which is for more sun kissed skin. The product has a nice smell and fragrance and glides on the face evenly, use sparingly though otherwise you end up looking like Blackpool Tower. ... ...over foundation, so you can have two looks, either go for the natural illuminated look or put it over foundation to jazz your makeup up a bit. There are a lot of products like this on the market at the moment, but with this make up you have the option to use it how you want to, it can even be used on the body to give a nice shimmer. A good product if you want something a little different in the make-up department, especially as summer is coming. ...
