...am like a slave to ribena toothkind, i decided to buy a 2l bottle of ribena original because my norm, ribena toothkind, had run out. My conscience was ok because on the front of the bottle, on a purple label around the top there was a big C, for vitamin C? I hoped so. Also on this label is a statement, "No artificial sweetener, flavour or colour" so I don't feel TOO bad about buying it. It cost me £4.84 for 2 litres, making it £2.42 per litre. ... Read review

Ribena beverages have yet to make their way across the Atlantic on a commerical basis. ...with a glimpse of the Ribena bottle standing on the kitchen counter. To be honest we never got Ribena very often it was too expensive which it still is to this day. Ribena is suitable for anyone of any age! I have drank it throughout my life! I went up the shop because my mum had not been shopping and we did not have anything to drink so I went up the shop to get a drink! Went into the fridge and spotted a Ribena carton! BIT OF HISTORY I knew Ribena had been around a long time because I remember drinking it when I was a child (for some reason I stopped when I left home- not cool???) but didn't realise it was as old as it is- nearly 70 years old and still going strong, and looking good! The drink is a Blackcurrant Still Drink with no artificial colour or sweetner and no added perservatives, and it tastes great. ...chanced upon a carton of Ribena and, well, I can honestly say that I have never had a nicer drinking sensation in my life. Cool, sweet (but not sickly) and fantastically refreshing. Drinking through the generously provided straw meant that I didn't gulp it down too quickly and get an ice-headache, but provided just enough liquid to keep me wanting more.
