This game graphically is superior to all other ps3 games currently on the market as it can be played in full hd(1080p),the game play is fun but so unrealistic the way you can drift backwards round a corner this makes the game a little dull after a few races.
Advantages: Excellent Arcade Racer! Disadvantages: Same as the last game!
If you enjoy Ridge Racer and aren't too fussed about change, you are likely to enjoy Ridge Racer 7. It's more of the same, yet again, but if you dig that you'll no doubt dig Namco's latest. I'm going to echo those sentiments with the multiplayer components too,
Because if your expecting anything more of the same - but with real life opposition instead of suspect Al - you are likely to be disappointed.

This will not disappoint ridge racer fans although fans looking for a simulation will sadly be disappointed here.
The game builds on the old series with new features such as slipstreaming and new customisation although the tracks are disappointingly the same as Ridge Racer 6 with the exception of a few more.

So its only fitting that Ridge Racer once again leads us in.
Boot up Ridge and the first thing you will notice is how cool the menus look.
OK so its a little cosmetic thing, but you actually feel as though you are playing a next gen game.
Actually start the game and graphically it defiantly screams Next gen.
Its such a shame that gameplay wise it hasn't evolved at all.

Advantages: great use of the 6 axis controller, could this be beter than the wii controller? Disadvantages: some dark areas in game, can get frustrating
the amount of time as a kid did i use the move the control around simulating driving a car. well now it actually does move the car. using the 6 axis control it gives you the abillity to move the car using movements with the control. i love this, there may well be a split second delay but that is nothing, visually this game is great, realistic in many ways. i had great fun playing this game and had many a laugh playing on multi-play with my brother. ...

Nonetheless, Ridge Racer 7 allows the player to play a large range of levels on super cool cars that travel on the courses at more realistic speeds than other games of the kind. As I've said the graphics are excellent and the scenery is great too.
